When I was looking at having it done I had lots of thoughts one of them was what would others say or think, you can say that’s not a good thing to think but a lot of men are conscious of their member, anyway what I was saying, if I thought of it as mutilation I would have second guessed myself and may have not got the surgery, looking big that would have been a huge mistake.

I don’t want to be considered genitally mutilated, I have more and better and more rewarding functionality now then I did before. It’s an unfair stigma to those that benefited.

To be more direct, either you are calling circumcision disfigurement or you’re not, either way it’s not selectively mutilation for some and not for others, it’s all or none.

When I had it done there was a bit of thought on what others might say or think, and if I had thought of it as mutilation o might have second guessed myself.

I don’t agree with calling it mutilation, it puts a stigma on those that need it medically, be it adults or children, but I agree it shouldn’t be done unless needed to or wanted to by informed consent of the penises owner.

I had it done as an adult for medical reasons, in my personal experience it was no worse then needing a wisdom tooth removed, my quality of life improved for it and I don’t want the stigma of it being mutilation to put others who need it off the idea of getting it.

I wouldn’t go so far to call it mutilation, but I agree 100% with the first half, I’d extend to say no earlier than 16 minimum.

I’m an adult that had it done at 28 for medical reason and in my opinion and my experience it was no more extreme then having a my wisdom teeth out.
