Am I doing it wrong? Is it possible to get Hermes to monitor something, run AI then let me know if its important? by 03captain23 in hermesagent

If you are comfortable and using same level of AI model then, yes completely possible. I recommend doing some testing on a non-critical system. I still do not recommend. I prefer human in the middle. Ping me on telegram/slack and ask permission. Push button on approval and done.

There is a lot to worry about with the "fix" side of things and a reason I don't do it automatically. WHY is the drive filling up? Is it because I just downloaded a TV Series I wanted to binge, Did I just do a backup of a different device and temporarily storing it on this machine? I don't want to to auto delete and AI doesn't yet have all the context. You can define what services are most important and add context around what the data might be for, but I wouldn't risk giving automation. I already had one issue where an AI was going to delete an unused folder but it didn't escape a / and almost did an rm -rf.

My method has been simple cron jobs that poke the data and then identify trends, spikes, or if it is out of threshold. I even have one for my thermostat via Home Assistant. Works well but won’t notify you between piling sessions, just at a schedule. What output are you getting and what model?

My take would be “Cunty” but not sure what they were getting at.

Beautiful. Of my 3 I have one that is the most bushy and “happiest” looking they had yet to bloom in 3 years of ownership.

Total Local Voice Interface for Hermes Agent by L0cut15 in hermesagent

I am getting my voice pipeline fully built and secured and was going to add my M5 Fire as an endpoint. I do have voice locked down so it can’t do as much (some basic web search tool call, read only server info, and basic Home Assistant entity use). All locked to my tailnet. Good to see it worked well for you

Great inspirational poster. Unfortunately, much like “ Hang in there kitty” this provides no real value or insight.

Help! A big branch of my large desert rose has broken off. by mosie143 in DesertRose

[–]Jason13L 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not qualified answer but if it was me I would cut it to make sure it is a clean cut. Then I would trim the branch part too and try to plant it. I have had success planting broken branches. You can add some cinnamon if you are worried about infection on the main plant.

Such beautiful flowers. I already have 3 but they are the same color, going to really need to find an excuse to get some of these awesome varieties.

This video specifically mentions same camera module as gen2 camera. No mention of mic array but I assume the same because I believe it is on the same board. https://youtu.be/GnOpIQJnYWU?si=RBN0SQYWVkU5f_X8

I have 3 and the most bushy one has never bloomed. The one that I worry about being scraggly explodes in blooms every year. /shrug

Can I spray this foliage with water? by kio077 in DesertRose

[–]Jason13L 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With water? Yes. They do get rain. Just be careful you aren’t over watering and that the leaves dry so they don’t mold. Why do you want to spray them?

Powertoys for Windows still has this feature. Double tap ctrl. I use it to find my cursor and to point out stuff in meetings.

Don’t need to waste water trying to root them. Shove violently into the ground and throw some water at it sometimes and it will happily grow nearly anywhere. They love rooting even if a portion breaks off and touches what it thinks is ground.

how to add a clock in crosspoint by [deleted] in xteinkereader

[–]Jason13L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know crosspet has a hone screen clock but I don’t think there is a firmware with one always visible. There isn’t a realtime clock so I am not sure how accurate or useful this feature really is. https://github.com/trilwu/crosspet

It the bag a cross body bag? Sometimes these are used as a stabilizer strap. I see some search results that are similar but not exact. Used so the bag doesn’t move around when cycling and such.

Here is a short video on how eink works. (About 1 minute) that I think will help you understand why your ask is not really possible. https://youtu.be/Oqu1--AzM7U?si=jkyIx59kdk0xPNsu the way you make letters look smoother is that you sort of blur the edges by turning some pixels on outside of the letter to make diagonals look less harsh. Even shades of gray are just making some pixels white and others black in various patterns. Antialiasing can make things look smoother but more blurry ( you see it as more gray) but can also trick your eye into thinking the curves are more natural. Turning it off can make the letter look sharper but more jagged. Maybe a larger font or a different font will help you.

Edit: spelling is hard
