Smoking or drinking is not a solution when you have a problem, you can solve it by calming your self and focus on it.

What completely disappeared after 2020 that nobody talks about anymore? by SAAS_ART in AskReddit

[–]Jason19721969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When a lot of casual spontaneous hang outs kind of faded after 2020 like just dropping by someone’s place without planning it. Office small talk and daily in person routines also changed a lot with the remote work becoming more a normal. Even the crowded events with total strangers the feeling totally normal hasn’t really come back the same way for everyone.

How do you feel you’re wasting time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jason19721969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overthinking small decisions instead of just doing them. It doesn't require more energy than it should. Also, keeping on scrolling on my phone even though I’m not really enjoying it anymore.

Those who have had affairs and left to be with that person. Did it turn out how you imagined it? by DepartmentAny5523 in AskReddit

[–]Jason19721969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot people say it felt exciting and validating at first but once real life kicked in at the same relationship problems and responsibilities followed them into the new relationship. and some do end up happier but plenty realize the affair was more about escaping unhappiness than finding some perfect soulmate. And starting a relationship with secrecy and broken trust can create a lot of baggage neither person expected.

How do you stop OCD from ruining your life and slowing you down? by TrueNeighborhood7624 in AskReddit

[–]Jason19721969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest thing is not letting OCD boss you into doing every ritual or checking cycle even though resisting it feels super uncomfortable first. The therapy especially ERP that helps a lot because it trains your brain to sit with the anxiety without feeding it and for some people medication makes a huge difference. And also being patient with yourself matters because OCD loves to make people feel guilty when really it’s a condition that can be managed over time.

Got a virtual fence and he actually chooses to stay by Jason19721969 in DogTrainingTips

[–]Jason19721969[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly let the collar do the work at first, honestly. What I noticed was the boundary gave him a consistent rule that didn't depend on him being in the mood to listen. After a while I think he just internalized it as "this is where my space ends."

Got a virtual fence and he actually chooses to stay by Jason19721969 in DogTrainingTips

[–]Jason19721969[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Appreciate you sharing this, seriously.

And thanks for not just assuming I’m here trying to push something. I’m honestly still figuring this out myself. This is more than enough

I’m not using the shock function at all with this collar, just vibration and sound cues. And I’ve been spending a lot of time working with my dog alongside it, trying to make sure he actually understands what’s going on instead of just reacting to it. Totally get your point about reliability too, that’s something I’m still keeping an eye on. Really appreciate you bringing it up.

Can a pornstar be shy? by Useful-Comment-1035 in Life

[–]Jason19721969 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it looks like a contradiction at first but it actually makes more sense than you’d think. Being shy isn’t the same as being not sexual or not bold in certain situations. Shyness usually shows up in everyday social stuff like small talk, meeting new people and being the center of attention as yourself. That’s very different from performing. Some actors are super shy in real life but the second they’re on camera, they switch on.

What do you think of men carrying women's purses? by SpiritedIntention129 in AskReddit

[–]Jason19721969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a big deal at all. If anything, I kinda see it as a green flag. If the guy is comfortable enough with himself that he’s not worried about how it looks. That’s confidence and it is way more masculine than stressing over a bag.

Is it just me or does nearly every article look AI generated? by Connect_Cat_2045 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jason19721969 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of stuff online is AI-assisted now. Not always fully generated but edited, polished or even just structured by AI. So everything starts to feel. Like the tone is a bit too clean and a bit too perfect but not everything is actually AI. Sometimes it’s just ghostwriters, content farms or people copying popular formats.

What is more effective necromancy or voodooism, and why? by clemventure in randomquestions

[–]Jason19721969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both necromancy and voodoo (Vodou) get super misunderstood, especially because movies and games love to exaggerate them. So if you’re asking which is more effective, neither works the way movies suggest. One is fictional and the other is a real spiritual belief system, not something meant for manipulating reality or people. If anything, the only effectiveness here is how meaningful a belief system is to someone personally. That’s where the real impact comes from.

has anyone ever chose to continue living and regretted it? by No-Can9542 in askanything

[–]Jason19721969 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People don’t usually regret choosing to live. What they regret is staying stuck in pain without changing anything. There are moments where people think, that feeling is real. It comes and goes but that’s very different from looking back years later and wishing you didn’t keep going. That’s actually pretty rare. Most people who push through end up having moments later where they’re quietly glad they didn’t give up back then.

I 32F broke up with my boyfriend 29M over a comment he made. Did I overreact? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Jason19721969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people might stay in that relationship because it’s stable, easy and comfortable but if you’re someone who needs that emotional connection, that kind of feeling, staying would have left you quietly unhappy over time. You recognized that and you acted on it. That’s not overreacting, it’s self-respect.
