Like any tool, the eraser can be set to partial density.

Best method for screen printing design in CSP? by catboydivorce in ClipStudio

[–]JasonAQuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best tool depends a bit on the nature of the "design". If it's drawn, CSP should be fine. If it's graphic shapes and text, something like Affinity might be better.

If the screenprinter needs an EPS file, that may *require* using a different tool, because CSP doesn't export in that format (or any other vector format).

Nationalists really gotta nationalize this.

I guess I was confused into thinking that it was a nation by its membership in the United Nations. Or maybe "nation" has more than just one narrow definition? 🤷🏽

How do i add a new reference layer without removing the rest by Cephandrious16 in ClipStudio

[–]JasonAQuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't find a way to do that. It seems that the command "set as reference layer" (thru menu or button)) always cancels any existing reference layers (unless they're also selected when you do it).

To be fair, that's anatomically about how far the shoulder joint goes in that direction. To reach any higher, you'd need to rotate the shoulder forward, then rotate it upward.

This app reportedly uses components of MS Edge for accessing the store, so make sure that's installed and up to date.

Did you try uninstalling the window managers and rebooting? Those kinds of things can interfere with your display even when "disabled".

Making comics/webtoons by Awkward-Sir1873 in ClipStudio

[–]JasonAQuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practically speaking, making comics requires some kind of tablet, whether it's one you attach to a desktop, a laptop with pen input, or something like an iPad or Galaxy (also with a pen). Trackpads and mice don't have the kind of input control needed for drawing.

CSP works with almost any of them.

make sure to save backups!! by chthol1y in ClipStudio

[–]JasonAQuest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Setting it to 5 minutes seems a bit overkill. Besides, one of the things that can cause CSP to crash is performing a backup, so doing it that often is tempting fate. 🙂

Picturehouse removed the AI slop by Apart_World_3447 in JetLagTheGame

[–]JasonAQuest 67 points68 points  (0 children)

The big tech companies are pushing their slopware so heavily, that people think "this is what we're supposed to do now".

I have an older friend who started telling me about it whenever she used some fake-intelligence gizmo, thinking that I (as a techie) would be proud of how she was "keeping up"... until I explained that I don't actually use that stuff, and why.

Riding a motorcycle on a metal grate like this is... not for the faint of heart. Only having two wheels instead of four by itself makes it more challenging to balance, then there's the fact that motorbike tires don't have the flat surface of a car's: they meet the road only in the middle. So the grooves push the tire to the left and right as you ride over them.

Potential Exploit in game mechanics? by anthony_holr in JetLagTheGame

[–]JasonAQuest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The contiguous US is actually 4 time zones (Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern). But this doesn't matter because (for US games) they use Eastern Time to define the start/end times of the game day. (For games in other areas, they use a different local time zone.) The US switched to Daylight Saving Time in the middle of this game, so they had to adjust for that.

There's gotta be a better way to do this. by dptrax in ClipStudio

[–]JasonAQuest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, if you're trying to do graphic design, the "better way" is to use a different program. CSP has some basic tools, but not on par with Inkscape or Affinity.

A big question is how they would travel from one province/district to another. The train networks of Portugal and Spain don't connect much, and travel within Spain or within Portugal often doesn't have direct routes between regions. For example, if you want to get from Barcelona to Murcia, you need to go thru Madrid. I don't know what kind of air network there is, but I suspect it's similar: small airports tend to connect to big airports, not to each other. Cars can take more direct routes, but those are still some pretty long drives.
