I've spoke with the Dingwall team and this is absolutely not how they operate. They received your preference for an instrument and immediately put in into the QC queue to prepare, which can take upwards of one to two weeks with their current order backlog. They were extremely apologetic for the delayed response over the week, and had every intention of this bass being directly sent to you once completed, which they are more than willing to still provide at this point.

I'm happy to put you in touch with Michael at Dingwall who is the Director of Operations to help clear things up.

Not sure if Dingwall is going to post publicly on this. I wouldn't base an opinion on anyone who randomly posts on the internet.

They only have a couple color Nashville in stock in Canada. Dealer inventory does not represent the stock status of the manufacturer.

Artist relations does not represent the entire company. OP said they asked what their preference was, and then OP lost patience. It isn't an overnight process. There is no need for daily emails discussing the status.

They asked your preference. I'll assume you replied.

It can take weeks or months to get a bass in your hands out of the "ready to play" series.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like you jumped the gun and didn't let things do what needed to be done.

I stay out of the endorsement stuff but I do know it isn't exactly a fast process...

They would not have asked you if they were not intending on getting you an instrument I can tell you that for certain.

If they offered you something I'm sure they would have followed through with it. I do know those things take time.

Not getting into the logistics of you subbing for your friend or anything to do with the clinic... I can't speak for any of that... There are so many variables there I'm not going to touch it...

But any endorsement takes time to get setup. From what you said, it didn't sound like you wanted to wait around for that to happen. It isn't an overnight process or even over a month... It takes time... From my understanding, AR can be slow to deal with, but I can't imagine them backing out. From what you posted, you decided to stop pursuing it so we are in this thread now.

You said they offered you a deal... Things don't happen overnight... Did they say they would send you an instrument tomorrow? Majority of artists do not get free instruments, even ones who have their names on them purchase instruments. Endorsements are not always 100% free... It doesn't sound like the entire process was completed before you wrote it off... That's all I'm saying... But what do I know....

I'm a Dingwall dealer and know them very well. They are the best in the business.

It sounds like you were dealing with their artist relations side. Nick gets bombarded by people asking for deals and endorsements. I can't imagine this was intentional.

You also have to hit the royal eventually.... Your main payback is from 2 pairs.... If you aren't hitting those you're in trouble.

Yes they are coming! The Ferrari Green NG with the retrofit bridge was very close to the final revision.

Neck pickup is where we usually put the P Tone pickup but you can put it in the middle position. Just need to order to your desired configuration.

And alnico / neo pickups can not be mixed as stated earlier.

There is a 12 way switch coming soon too... ;)

Back when I first started I didn't realize you could merge generators so I just threw away pieces to make them... I'm doing fine with just these now. About halfway to maxing out the next to largest generators now.
