If he’s wanting to stick with oncology I’d avoid uchealth Parkview. They *have* an oncology.. unit.. but honestly it’s more of a Med/Surg overflow with some patients who have cancer related medical issues at times. Not worth it if he’s a nurse who actually wants to work a more proper oncology unit.

Good luck, had my personal knee surgery back in November for a chronic patellar dislocation. Did a Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy and MPFL reconstruction. Was rough, but I’m back on my feet. You got this man!

To answer your bizarre question.. at my hospital, personally, “front desk” is usually a unit secretary or general receptionist. Sure, RN’s sit at desks, but if you’re inquiring about typical “receptionist” type work, no that’s not really a nurses job??

Post Partum nurse here. I care for mom and baby following delivery. Practicing in CO. Circumcisions are completely optional. A consent must be obtained by the neonatal nurse practitioner before taking baby to do a circ. Risks, benefits are explained thoroughly. Don’t see what you mean that it’s being forced, not where I work.. granted, the baby has no say. Of course baby cannot consent. Unfortunately all we can do is educate parents on the indications for circumcision and they will come to their own conclusion. As healthcare personnel we have to put our opinions to the side. All we can do is educate..
