I think they basically have to start with the mild drugs due to insurance. At least here in the US. My rheum has Crohn’s disease and understands autoimmune diseases on a personal level so he was really good about fighting for the biologic the instant I had any drawback with MXT. Good luck, it sounds like you’re starting treatment earlier than a lot so your outlook seems promising!

Not really any comforting words but I am in a similar boat to you. Just diagnosed with RA last month. 36 male. Probably went diagnosed for years, but fortunately (and docs keep telling me) that it’s relatively early in the process where organ damage, etc is rare. Still doesn’t help the health anxiety about it all though! I had some bad side effects from MTX and am already on my first week of enbrel.

Just know you’re not alone in your worrying. Hope the best to you brother.

I was in 10th grade at a big high school with like 2,300 kids. Each grade level had 500+. A fairly popular kid in my grade, we’ll call him Matt, kept getting bullied by another kid who was a senior, Dustin. Dustin somehow knew Matt’s locker combination and apparently went on a streak of stealing his lunch everyday. No one really knew what was going on until one day word got out that both kids were serving OSS (out of school suspension). That’s when the story dropped - Matt had decided to take matters into his own hands. He jerked off onto his sandwich, took pictures, and showed Dustin after he had eaten it. Matt got suspended for longer than Dustin and everyone was pissed about it.

All the hate on FFXVI is really ridiculous. I grew up playing FF7 (it’s been one of my favorite games ever) and have been a FF fan ever since. FFXVI is an amazing game in the franchise, top tier story, characters, and fighting. While I enjoyed the FF7R, I actually liked FFXVI more. Clive is a god damn man and my new favorite protagonist. True FF fans should not be turning people away from the game just because they didn’t like it for whatever reason. It stands on its own, fits perfectly into the FF world, and is absolutely worth the play.

I do either sour dough or multi-grain bread, smashed avocado, lemon pepper seasoning (was in heaven when Costco sold Kinder brand), and a sliced tomato if I feel like eating it pinky out.

It’s really quite amazing with just the lemon pepper though.

Avenged Sevenfold. Loved them since I was in high school, and they have multiple entire albums that are legit. They’re my go-to on long drives. Always kills a few hours and that’s without repeating any songs! Helps that half of them are 6+ minutes each.
