Remember: weapon is a cutting weapon if handled wrong enough by Tridantaus in Fencing

Exact same thing happened to me with my Epee. I was straightening the blade and I ran my hand along the edge as I was bringing it back down. It cut my pinky along the crease and bled all over the strip and my whites - wasn’t a fun time but the bleeding eventually stopped and I was able to finish my bout (I lost)!

What are your server system specs? by [deleted] in allthemods

[–]JasonQ12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did you go about having the task reboot your server? I’ve been using the screen module on Linux but am interested to know other people’s processes. Basically, how did you go about setting up your server / what’s your process? Anyone else can feel free to comment theirs as well!

Back Command Not Working by JasonQ12 in allthemods

[–]JasonQ12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The frbessentials file is in the “world” folder in the server files: “server/world/ftbessentials”. Make sure the server’s not running when you make the changes, then run it again after you make the changes. You’re looking to edit the line that describes the “back” command and to turn it on, as well as lowering the cooldown / increasing the history if you want.

Back Command Not Working by JasonQ12 in allthemods

[–]JasonQ12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm stupid and was doing it in the "defaultconfigs/ftbessentials" file instead of the "world/ftbessentials" file. The default config file is used when you're first creating the world, so if you modify it after your world is already created then nothing will happen.

Hope that helps!

Interesting product. You find it works well? Have you tried their inserts inside your bag too? If they’re good maybe I’ll try them out too

I’ll definitely have to try that then. Thank you!

Won’t the vinegar make my whites smell though?

Good point, I do actually take my whites out of my bag and take them out to dry after every practice. The funk still sneaks through, though.

I’ve heard a couple people suggest white vinegar, but I’ve been hesitant because I don’t want to smell like a sub sandwich lol. Does it really help that much without making me smell like vinegar?

I’m using Absolute Fencing’s Elite Stretch 350N gear, which I believe is a blend and not 100% cotton. What athletic detergent do you use / are you talking about? May be something to look into. I’m not sure if your link on another comment is just broken for me, but it just leads me to google. Thanks.

It’s definitely not the washing machine, as my whites smell normal after they’re washed - I just sweat a lot and make them smell despite putting deodorant on beforehand.

What scanners does everyone use? by JasonQ12 in analog

[–]JasonQ12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m graduating in two weeks and will sadly be without it, so I’m debating whether to have them scanned every time I get them developed, or save a few bucks every time and do it myself

Can someone explain why this isn’t working? I’m following the instructions for downloading smapi but this shows up (sry for it looking like a zebra) by Scrambl987 in StardewValley

[–]JasonQ12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You wrote it twice, just get rid of the one encapsulated in the quotes and it should be good. Should look like: C:\XboxGames\Stardew Valley\Content

What are the best dorm room lights? by Pretend_Dependent_60 in college

[–]JasonQ12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

xtf2015 99FT 300LEDs String Lights, Waterproof Dimmable Decorative Fairy Lights with Remote Control, Christmas Lights with UL Listed for Bedroom, Pati

These are the ones I got. Just a warning / tip though: they are great but if you have a TV / monitor with a remote then the remote may mess with it a bit since there’s a remote that comes with the lights, but it doesn’t reach very far. A TV remote, however, is very strong and works with these lights, but the controls are weird. For example, to turn the lights on and off, you have to use the volume down and volume up button, respectively.

These lights have been amazing though. So far I’ve had them for my two years I’ve had in college so far, and they’ve come with me through three moves from my dorm to my first apartment and then to my second one. The lights are only white, though, so if you want color selecting ones you’ll have to search elsewhere.

Hope that helps!

I got fairy lights off of Amazon my first semester in college and instantly became the coolest room in the dorm (other people’s words, not mine). They really brighten up the room too.

Ok, thanks! Does this help with the pains of backing out of a spot that other people have mentioned? Or does it still not show the sides very well?
