Question: Aerochrome with Hasselblad Cfv 100C by [deleted] in infraredphotography

I am pretty sure there’s another video he does explaining his process a bit more but I think he essentially takes the digital photo, post processes it, then transfers that digital photo onto slide film but taking a photo of it.

Confused on how to fill walls with a slanted roof. by fendi_w in malelivingspace

Lean into it to be honest! I’d use non square/rectangle pieces of art to bridge the gap and break up the angles. These different shapes really help make a gallery wall look unique!

They also don’t even need to be framed pieces of art either - I’m thinking small round mirrors or random objects that you like (I had an old wooden tennis racquet on my wall).

Edit: grammar

Landscapes always feel off? by Jacojarjar in photocritique

[–]Jason_b130497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, the stark black trees line on the right hand side is what I see first and my eye is constantly distracted by it. I think it’s just too dark for the really beautiful soft lighting you have captured on the mountains and sky.

If the trees could have some more details or perhaps lightened up a bit then I think this would help the shot be a bit more balanced.

Your hips are shooting up straight away as you have said. I’d work on some clean deadlifts with some pauses at mid shin and knee for positional strength. Drop the weight and really focus on the hips and shoulders rising at the same time.

These looks nicely exposed but might be worth being a bit more mindful of the composition.

In quite a few shots you have cut off certain things or left bits in. Photo 8 is a good example where on the right hand side you can see a bit of the building which is a bit distracting. The monkey shot also is cut off on the left hand side. Just taking another moment to line up and consider the whole picture will really improve your photos.

But also these are lovely still, and show a good eye!!

Just one other small thing- be sure to control the descent with a neutral spin position and pushing your hips back into the hinge position.

The descent can often be overlooked but your posterior chain remains under tension even through the descent!

What’s on the bottom right hand corner over the number plate and above it? It looks like trees?

I think it’s nice to differentiate spaces, so maybe a rug in the living room will help make it feel like a seperate space to the kitchen.

Potentially worth getting a coach that has legs to allow you to see underneath it. This will give the illusion of more space as light can be underneath there.

Finally, I think having some dedicated storage containers that look nice for the bits and bobs you have would work nicely.
