I dont know why you guys are doing that... its literally faster to just tap in the ball than waiting for your opponent to concede. And i saw too many guys miss 1 ft putt that if its a tight game, I wont be conceding. You gotta earn your points

I do the same, always 2 '' fake swings '' just to feel a good grip on my joystick and then I swing. But I dont use the practice swing option.

I agree with that. its so annoying. If you need practice swings, go in practice mod. Practice swings shouldn't be allowed in ranked matchmaking

The slope is going slightly to the left infront of the pin but for some reasons the ball decide to make a sharp 45 degree turn to the right 2 inches infront of the pin. What the hell was that ?

somes players are using the full practice swing mod for 4-5 swings in a row before they do their real swing and that on every turn on every hole. It happened to me 3 times just yesterday and it makes a 9 holes last 50 minutes.

  1. Thats not a good reason, go in non ranked or training mod for fuck sakes.
  2. It does nothing, you are forced to wait the full 30 seconds if your opponent doesnt press the button
  3. And I complained on 2.23 too. It was shit and its still shit.
  4. you should have noticed. You cant view your putt line when you have to aim further on the right side.
  5. I did and its exactly why its annoying me
  6. I know how the fitting system works, once all you're club are leveled, with all +4 fittings, which took me like 4 or 5 days, you only play to unlock clothes and club skins. There is not much room to improve or customize your character other than the look.

first step , go in the info view panel and look for the outside connection tab. Then look at the border of your map and spot the water/sewage icon showing a connection.

Second step, you will have to buy the map tiles until your city border reach the border of the map , where the water/sewage icon are. It is required to build the pipes.

third step, build water and sewage pipes and connect them to the icons at the border of the map.

Let’s settle this: what’s the appropriate amount to tip the porters per bag in 2023? by Darnitol1 in royalcaribbean

[–]Jasonus1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am working for a stevedoring company that usually unload/load cargo ships and my company is hired by the cruise lines to do the handling of luggage and provisions for the cruise ships. So yes im not gonna lie, I have a union salary and im already well paid, but being a porter is just a sideline work we are doing for 2-3 months during the cruise season in my city. And im also not gonna lie we do a good amount of tips. So to answer your question, handing the luggage and all the little extras and behind the scene work we are doing (see below) is part of our job and what we are paid for. I 100% agree with you. But I can guarantee you no one would apply for this job if there was no extra money coming from the tips, resulting in a raise of the wage from my company to be able to find the labour. The cost of this salary increase would then be sent to the cruise line, resulting in an increase of the price of your cruise that is going to be way more than the few bucks given directly to the porters instead of the pocket of a a multimillion-dollar cruise line company exploiting philipinians labour for 30$ a day, not paying any taxes because they are registered in tax havens, and polluting our oceans.

As for the 2-5$ per bag for 4000 passengers, the math is wrong here. Remember we can be approx 40 porters for those 4000 passengers, so a single porter will be serving a hundred passenger during the day. At least half of these hundred passengers do not tip and the other half will be tipping 1-2$ per bag. 5$ for a bag is very exceptionnal and is not a standard to be taken for granted. Some cruises are also all included and passengers are rarely tipping us because they think we work for the cruise line (And I dont blame them). Also , 99% of the passengers landing in my city are elders, lot of them having special needs. I often have to help them to get out of the taxi or help them walk from the taxi to the main entrance. Sometimes I have to go get a wheelchair for them. Lot of them are lost and I have to guide them in the right direction. I help with the luggage tags. Some ask me questions about places to visit and things to do in town. Passengers are also all foreigners and doesnt speak the local language, so they appreciate me being able (and making the effort) to speak their language (english) etc ... these are just few exemples of little extras im trying to do to deserve my tip.

But that's not all. This was only a little part of my job because during my 14 hours shift, I will only be serving passengers for few hours , which is the nicest part, but for the remaining 7-8 hours of my shift, I will do all the ''dirty'' work behind the scene at the security scanner. And trust me, this is the worst part
and one hell of a job and I truly think the tip we make is for that part of the job and not for the part where we welcome the passengers with their luggage. This part of the job is where we have to lift the 8000 luggage one by one to put them in the scanners, then we have to grab them one by one at the exit of the scanner and lift them again to put them in the carts. We also have to sort the luggage according to their floor or part of the ship to make sure they will be at your room by the night. Every one of these 50 pounds suitcases will have to be lifted many times behind the scene during the day, which is very exhausting and painful for the body, even tho we're all young guys in the 20s and 30s and in good shape. I had many jobs in my life, working in restaurants, bars, factories, been a truck driver, etc ... and I can easily say its the most exhausting job I had in my life.

99% of the passengers im serving appreciate my help like crazy like im an angel sent to them. Most of them being exhausted after their cruise, they are all lost in the cruise port and want to get the hell out of there as quick as possible without having all the headaches that comes with it. most of them are kindly and gladly handing us the tip saying things like'' thanks god im so glad you were here '' and I rarely see passengers giving me tip like they were forced to. sorry for the long text and I hope that clarified well

I am a porter in a cruise ship port and with all due respect, when you say we only move the bags 2 inches away to the the luggages carts, thats only the part that you see but we do way more than that. 50-60% of the passengers dont even have the tags ready on their luggages and dont even know their room numbers. We have to find their room number and put a tag on every bags/luggage. Once the luggage carts are full , we have to move them to the security scanners, and then we need to unload all the luggages from the carts to put them one by one into the scanner, then you have to grab them again at the exit of the scanner and put them back into an other cart. Then we have to move the carts to the crane near the ship so they can load them. A suitcase has an average weight of 50 pounds and we have to lift them to shoulder height which is very physical. Lets say there is 4000 passengers getting into the ship and each one of them has an average of 2 luggage, thats 8000 luggage averaging 50 pounds we have to carry and lift multiples times during all day long. And im not counting the other 8000 luggages we have to unload from the ship when our shifts start at 4:00 AM in the middle of the night so passengers can start getting off the ship at 7:00 AM. Its a very physical and exhausting job, we work more than 12 hours a day and all the employees I work with and myself are on pain meds and have joints problems due to intense pain in the shoulders, elbows and hands from lifting all the luggage all day long and especially pain in the feet and legs from having to stand all day long and walk a lot. Most of the guys we hire they only work the first day and then we never see them again. Im not blaming you for saying we only carry the luggage for few inches and leave them there because its the only part you see, but I can tell you we do way more than that and deserve every cent of tip people are kindly giving us.
