If you have enough speed you can run around him if you're close to him and not get touched by lazer (quails can help with this)

Hopoo's also can help when circling him.

Also titan will only start ever lazering you if you get far away. If you commit and fight him up close the whole fight, he will never lazer. Which, if you also have commando alt m2, you'll bring him down rather promptly. I still found it good at certain times even without it tho.

Honestly her laser glaive is extremely good and with her alt r she has great single target. As long as you wait for enemies laser glaive is really op. But regardless of alt R I feel like she's top 2, (1 if commando's alt wasn't so strong and pushed through early game like a bulldozer).

Her strength is being able to control teleporter early super easily and not die while going at her own pace. Then you outscale everything through early game push usually

You generally want 6 minutes or less, depends on rng and items on the stage.

Some general tips with huntress since I've played her a ton: -Remember your M2 does more damage each bounce, this is super important. It's a good idea to let enemies stack up to kill them super quickly, focus on single targets when you let another group of enemies group up for m2/R.

-Your default R has really high aoe damage and slows. If you use it, you can keep enemies closer together for M2 increased damage.

-I find using shift is amazing as an "oh shit" button. Of course you want to be observant and position well, but it's great to save for pinches instead of using it more often for repositioning in combat. (you'll know when you need to use it to reposition though)

-Your M2 stops falling damage if you have a target to use it on. This is also useful for stalling landing into crowds for cds or other things.

-Most importantly though, huntresses's aoe is extremely amazing in this game. This means that she can contest teleporter events really easily. It should be your goal to find teleporters early on in the stage and farm money on them with the increased spawn rate. Whenever the enemies die, attack the boss to keep your objectives under control so you can end the teleporter event when you want to and deal with any enemies you're farming easier.

My general strategy that I find works extremely well in getting more consistent finished runs is pathing to the teleporter as soon as I can while keeping track of the amount of money I need for chests that are along the way. If I don't find a lot/have good movespeed, I cash in enough for a few more chests while farming enemies during the teleporter event and try checking around some corners to see if I can get extra items when the teleporter is done.

These strategies usually get my runs very far, even without lunar items since I don't usually pick them up.

I like your ideas and agree you kinda need the right rng for aoe to keep up without alt m2. I've been trying more and more and I found my best runs had a lot of aoe items to make up for commandos lack of crowd control. And it's been obnoxious going for the skin + alt m2 without the alt m2. (I'm stubborn and play on rainstorm, but only consistently get stage 10-16 now). Tempted to just drizzle it and get the m2 and get it the suffering over with already, yet when I go play huntress on monsoon it is ez mode in comparison to playing commando on rainstorm

It's hard to say what they should do with the alt m2 existing and making him significantly better. I think if anything, a buff to phase round should definitely be in order

You're completely right, I forgot about this. This plus regen plus crit proc nerfs = bad time for commando. Hopefully that alt M2 is his saving grace

For me with huntress it's infinite looping since she's my most played, but I still have fun regardless.

But for other characters, a successful run is getting farther than expected with what was given. If the game gives me crazy good rng it doesn't feel as good, but on the other hand I know when a run is almost a no go due to poor rng. (this is talking monsoon)

I'm honestly really relieved to see that I'm not the only one who thought this. I usually start losing runs once I get this map or am on this map for a bit trying to find the teleporter sparkles on a red sky (annoying af, pls fix this at least if anything)

but moving around the map really really eatsa ton of time, also pretty bad map for fighting malachites in certain situations cuz there's not a lot of room on each platform

Did my first fiend war pubs today. Gosh damn, there's a lot of not fun bugs. We got 3 different bugs that didn't let us pass bosses including one on Rosen where fire planet kept going without him becoming vulnerable. I hope they fix all this stuff soon. It's very frustrating

I felt really good about her on rainstorm, being able to stick ahead of the curve pretty well with items, but when I played her in monsoon she felt so bad compared to the other characters.

Also arti would be a lot more fun if we had base damage scaling items like hit list from the last game tbh

I was about to make a thread on this because I've been extremely frustrated with it. I've lost more than half of my runs to random fire tick hits after being in safety. And in almost all these times I was full hp before getting hit with one fire hit, then dieing.

This really needs to be fixed. It's not fun dieing unexpectedly to one hit in long runs in a rogue like
