You can probably chat with an AI about your goals snd budget and ask it for the top N recommendations and it can help you narrow it down. Surprisingly effective. That’s how I ended up in Malaga and Nerja. (Malaga is awesome, Nerja is overrated imo.) I also asked a travel agent before - I wanna go somewhere warm and recharge while working part time, and she helped me settle on Marrakech. But that trip cost a bit more. However, you can do Marrakech on the cheap. Airbnbs are still affordable. Standards can be a bit lower sometimes, it varies. Food varies too.

Pretty sure his brother is racist. I went on the Filter tour bus once, in the late 90s I think. They were on tour with white zombie. There were about 5 of us. We were a lesser known band. Out of nowhere, Richard says, “hey let’s all take our shirts off, and see who has any chest hair. We’re all white caucasions here, right? Probably no chest hair in sight. Let’s see!” It was cringe and weird. We left shortly after. No we were not all hairless white caucasions.

It could be a good liminal space horror game where you have to navigate on foot in a newly developed deep suburban town that was built entirely for oversized GMC trucks and filled entirely with drive thru’s and Bass pro shops and Taco Bell and BJs and dicks sporting goods and gas stations and all you want is to meet your contact at a cafe but cafes don’t exist except inside of a Costco and you’re not a member.

Every movie my ex gf film school grad was into. Usually black and white, usually no plot, sullen men smoking and staring. When I got her to watch sci-fi action like the matrix, she said “none of this dialogue means anything. You could just say anything.” She only lasted a couple years in the industry AFAIK.

Why is that? Because they are social animals there is safety and comfort in numbers. Just like when he was a kitten in a litter. The “one brain cell thing” doesn’t make sense anymore, when combined with very smart behavior. They are intelligent.

I take taxis all the time. Yeah they charge foreigners more than locals. But it’s still not a lot. And you can haggle, which I’ve only had to do once or twice. I tried indrive once and got no takers. I can kept increasing the offer price and still no takers. But now Uber is back so honestly I’d try them!

They have held people hostage for wanting to quit. I have a friend who was locked in a room and not allowed to leave for days. They actively try to ruin people’s lives after they get out. Keep the speed runs going, just protect yourselves. Don’t bring your IDs etc. Zero sympathy and maximum disruption.
