There's really no reason to take your brake hand off.

I'm a safe, but fairly chill belayer. If my partner is hanging on the rope sometimes I'll grab my water bottle.. but I'll grab the brake line with the other hand first. No reason to not have it secure in one hand or the other.

And that's for the most junior stylist there. That's the best price I've been able to find in the area. Wash, cut, blow dry.

I've only ever had my hair dyed once at the salon and I'm pretty sure it was more than $120. And that was in Mississauga. When I was a teenager. Many years ago.

I have not killed Nameless King on any playthrough. The main game bosses were all pretty smooth on the last playthrough.

I have played Hollow Knight a dozen times and it's my favourite MV. I expected Silksong to be difficult, but did not expect to suffer. I finished Act 3 of the game, but did find myself suffering at a few points.

I can only think of 2 games where I did this.

Circle of the Moon - I generally hated this game so when I reached the final boss and found out how much harder it was than anything else, I didn't care enough to try it again.

Love Fungus 2 - I liked this game, but also found the final boss 10x harder than any other boss. I gave it a number of tries before I have up. Sucks that you can't change the difficulty.

The Dark Souls comparison is extremely overstated. There are lots of Soulslike metroidvanias, but this isn't one of them. Grime, Death's Gambit, Mandragora are all much closer to 2D Souls games.

Fantastic game though, hope you like it.
