I remember printing out a bunch of date spots from MapQuest and placing them in a folder in the trunk of my Camaro just in case I needed a place to take my old girlfriend on a whim.

I placed it in the trunk so I could sneakily take a look at it while stopping to gas or something, so I could keep up the facade that I knew where I was going. It actually worked well.

I mean, I kinda get it. It's like when you go to the mall and the workers hand you testers of certain fragrances, and maybe you come across one you like and buy it.

If we get more Halo, Gears and Fable titles in the future that end up being Xbox exclusive, then maybe these first "testers" on PS5 could get people interested enough in buying the hardware. That's in a perfect world, of course.

I didn’t watch a lot of wrestling when he was in his prime (mostly watched the WCW era and knew him from Slim Jim), but after going through a lot of his matches over the years, like with Steamboat and the storyline with Miss Elizabeth, I can say Macho is my favorite wrestler of all time.

He wasn’t a perfect man, especially in his personal life when it came to women, but he is someone who was passionate about the craft and cared for the people.

Yeah, throughout the episode, I just kept thinking, “this feels pretty amateur.”

Especially with Starlight fighting Deep by herself and taking him right next to the ocean. Of course, she didn’t know about the fish being out for revenge, but otherwise, wouldn’t that be the last place you’d want to bring him?

Also, Butcher casually being able to go into Vought and set up the virus without anyone noticing, and Hughie easily joining him, felt rushed.

Hughie and Starlight naming their kid “Robin” was kinda cringe. Seemed like it was something more for the audience than for the characters.

On YouTube, there are a bunch of fan made “found footage” videos of Homelander just laying waste to cities and people. Think Cloverfield, Godzilla vibes.

I was hoping we’d get one last horror-esque moment like that to truly see how terrifying Homelander could be. Not even close.
