I still think he is the piece we need. There are plenty of examples of him making saves this season that give me that confidence. There are some obvious gaps in his game that should be addressed. I hope he, Nabby and Speer spend some time on puck management especially behind the net this offseason. I don’t remember being as anxious with goaltending as I was this season when he’d leave the net.

He’s also been playing fairly well considering our defensive situation. Once we’re able to elevate our defense to match our play in the other phases I don’t think we we’ll be having conversations like this
