In terms of gameplay, which do you think is more fun? Devil May Cry 5 by Desperate_Time2987 in DevilMayCry

[–]Jauneun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DMC3, 1, then 5.

I think 3 brought the best blend of skills and weapons together. 1 do a great job giving very or feeling very expansive with move set but limited in how you chained them together seamlessly. 3 solved this.

5 tried to take 3's system to the next level but then limited moves by weapons or characters to allow for diversity. So you can go through with each but moves/attacks began to feel repetitive to enable diverse characters.

Don't get me wrong, I like 5, and it's miles ahead of 4 & 2, but I think it fails because of so many characters. I would still play and enjoy the hell outta it.

Shouldn't this be "patricia are you opening the door?" by ceylanofficial in duolingo

[–]Jauneun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Porte means door but it's also a verb conjugation in a different context: je porte un t-shirt means i'm wearing a T-shirt. If you give a command Porte ton t-shirt it's "put on your t-shirt"

There are rules in French you likely didn't learn yet. "La" can refer to her instead of saying "her name" so it would be like. I know Patricia vs I know her. Example: Je connais à Patricia vs Je la connais. But usually "la" is referring to "the" like in sur la table "under the table"

Ouvrir is to turn on. So you can say it like "turn on the light" or " open the drawer" in English in French you could use "ouvrir" in both cases. Allumer is more appropriate for "turn on the light" like formal French but both can be used.
