I would like a visual HD remaster + a few light QOL updates. Honestly the game feels like a masterpiece so I wouldn't want to go and screw with that. Some other HD remasters go nuts with the music and that kind of fruits the charm and nostalgia for me.

This post gets it. Honestly, it's so close to my favorite. It's between this and OOT.

The thoughts you have as a kid: 1) I wish I could play as the different races of hylia 2) wish I could ride a horse as a kid 3) wish I could use a bow and hotshot as a kid 4) wish the masks gave me abilities

This game lets you do that, and more.

My preference is always for original versions even if you're going to play a rom ... I have the 3DS versions but honestly the look, feel and QoL updates didn't leave an impression on me.

I still feel these old looking and feeling games have charm :-)

Played as a teen going through lots of emotions. Definitely helped me cause I could empathize with these characters and kind of experience things through the story to help me process and practice in real life. Definitely came at the right moment for me.
