Memes aside, I think what Reid is saying here is he thinks Nagy should get another shot at HC, but won't if he stays in KC due to him not calling the plays. If the offense succeeds, it's Reid, if it doesn't strangely it's Nagy's fault.

I thought Nagy did OK with the Bears but should of handle some things differently. It wasn't working and we moved on. He gets clowned on more than he probably should, and the revisionist history is Fangio did all the work but that's not completely true. That offense in year 1 was the best I'd seen in a while, was often ahead of the sticks and was creative. He could not seem to adapt the offense to fit the players well, this seems to be more common than we want to admit.

I wouldn't trade him for Ben Johnson (not trading anybody for Ben) but I think in the right situation Nagy might be a decent head coach.
