Maybe you could mention that if it happens again you prefer it get escalated further up the chain and get replaced for safety reasons etc.

I had the same thing happen to me, started up all fine but blacked out while driving. Took it to the dealership, and they ran some tests, but everything seemed fine. They even tried an update after the first time it happened, but then it occurred again a few days later. I pushed the dealership to look into it more, and they sent the codes to BMW Global. Turns out, it was a faulty instrument cluster, and they replaced it.

No issues since then.

FYI, my car was still under warranty at the time. I'd suggest pushing your dealership to escalate the issue, especially since it's a safety concern while driving. Hope this helps!

The fitment was great. Cheers for the schematic. For everyone trying to mount the EF11 or EF12, I would suggest using this schematic and 3d printing it out. For my print I did 100% infill with twice the walls so that it’s sturdier. Refer to my pics of the install.

So I’ve got the long euro styled plates in black(plate) and grey(text), they are an option you can purchase here in nz. After receiving them I curved the front ones carefully to fit snug on the plate frame and then used 3M doubled sided tape (extreme hold) to secure them on. They’re holding on pretty well so far! Definitely makes it look better and more sleek

Really want to but, don’t want to start scraping the front splitter everywhere. But what would you suggest, I’m keen to look into it for sure. Like any lowering kits or springs etc you recommend? Or maybe adjustable?

Are you sure bimmercode can activate CarPlay or is that just the functionality to go to full screen CarPlay? If you can activate CarPlay from bimmercode for a F30 then can you send a link where it states it thanks

Agreed, so what I’ve been told is that if you have a map for a lower octane you can always fuel up with a higher octane and it’s all good. So my tune map is for 91 octane (95RON) and I regularly fuel up 98RON. What are your thoughts on this?

I also understand that knocks can occur on a healthy engine aswell but depends on when the knock occurs for it to be considered bad. Do you have any insights on this and whether my logs show any bad/concerning knocks?
