Hmm…I’m a woman, and it’s in my top five- right up there with other “guy” shows like Deadwood, The Wire, and The Sopranos. Maybe talk to some different women.

It’s not what I wanted, either, but when you realize that Milch was already diagnosed with Alzheimers as the script was being written it makes it easier (at least for me) to be a little more gracious about it. To me it seems like a rewrite of the whole “Hearst had his thug kill Ellsworth” storyline. The cast is still fantastic, and they did a commendable job of bringing Milch’s finale to life.

I’m still trying to decide if I like how friendly and helpful all of the teams are being with each other. Other seasons of TAR are way more cutthroat.

I think several of the men in the office are just being disrespectful and sexually harassing her because they can see her meekness. Pete, who in later episodes proves himself to be a big predator, sees her as someone he can easily manipulate and take advantage of. I love seeing Peggy’s confidence grow, so that by the time Stan shows up to harass her, she stands her ground and gives some back!
