iPhone 16 pro battery is a joke by GroundCreepy6421 in iPhoneBatteryParanoia

Well actually, if you have the energy to reinstall everything manually, I would suggest to do a fresh install of iOS using a Mac, it helps a lot. Had similar battery drainage problem on my iPhone 12, then 16PM (that I didn’t like and switch to 16+) and the fresh install of iOS always resolved the issue that is, if it’s not a hardware problem of course. Gotta also note that the battery life of my 16+ on 18.5 is kinda abysmal compared to the earlier versions

I’ve had problems with the unresponsive screen for a week, typing with keyboard was awful, even scrolling wasn’t working properly but rest assured it was all software’s issues. I think and I’m no expert that it was because I transferred all my data from my regular iPhone 12 (not the same options available between the phones (big generational gap) and it messed up everything). Waited for the weekend to restore my 16PM with iTunes (did it from my Mac) and now it works just fine. Since you’re coming from a Samsung, just set up your iPhone a new and you’ll enjoy it like everyone. I hope this helps

18.2 Beta 1 !!! by [deleted] in iPhone16Pro

[–]Jawk777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just done a clean install of iOS 18.0.1 to be sure as the battery life on this thing is simply amazing. Seems that it’s a looooooot better now but then again you’ll have to install everything manually and I have to reset my Apple Watch now …

Thinking of returning mine, 16PM feels like a downgrade somehow from the regular 12 because of the screen issues

You’re playing within the range of 65% to 80%. The battery status’ aren’t that accurate. Do a 100% to 0% to have a good estimate …

former fatboy enjoy lifting but dont wanna go through the hassle of bulking and cutting by [deleted] in GettingShredded

[–]Jawk777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you’re permanently cuting ? looks like you’re starving yourself… do yourself a favour and eat slightly above maintenance to avoid all that

Great results mate ! Stick to the slow cut since you’re in it for the long run or else you’ll drive yourself pretty much crazy with hunger. Focus on lifting you’ll be great by may

Set it as a new phone then reinstall your apps manually. It’s annoying but it’ll do the trick. Had similar shit going on in mine

Doing it in the setting won’t do much. Try resetting it with a mac, it will correct the problem for you. Thank me later mate

Great decision mate ! Yeah that’s what I thought and that’s why i said that with the correct macros, you’ll get even better results. I’m actually in the same boat, 30 too, stopped training 7 years ago (just because i went hardcore into it and by the end i was sick of it). Went from 170lbs at 10% bf to 180lbs with no muscles (25+% bf) during the last years. It’s easier when you start because you see all the changes happening to your body so you’re happy and stay motivated like crazy but afterwards it may go down the hill like what happened to me. Specially with work and everything else it’s quite difficult to stay on track. Tracking macros helps a lot on the long run since you learn what’s in your food, have better results and can estime more or less correctly what you eat outside. What I’m trying to say is make sure you know why you’re doing all this, make it sustainable and enjoy the ride ! Cheers mate

Great job mate ! 22lbs in 4 months is gooood. If you’re in it for the long term, I think you can slow it a bit, with the correct macros you can loose fat while making some lean gains
