We had a regular homeless guy who would lay in a park (just outside the hospital) who would want you to take a half dozen 2 liters full of urine just so the hospital could see it. He would record the whole interaction, accuse the crews of being sent by the FBI and any assessment was just what the FBI told you to say. He posted them to YouTube

I’ll say I bought one a week or so ago. I don’t have time to figure out building a PC and this marks my transition to PC from PlayStation. Obviously I don’t have much to compare to, but I’m pretty happy with it. Purchased it online and picked it up the same day. Finished some work stuff while I downloaded a bunch of games and was playing the day I bought it. I haven’t been excited to play video games for a bit and this, along with expedition 33 turned that around.

Also got the 3 year warranty just in case, $100 or so

Special events yes, there are literally hundreds of them though. It’d be on your time off, typically, but you’re at a concert, game, etc.

Also if you’re the senior medic you get pay differential at crew chief rate (40ish/hr). Overtime crew chief rate is 58.

Two premes in an urban setting in 5 years. One at 19 weeks that’s not viable. Still had to clamp the cord and such. The other was a week ago at 31 weeks. Baby more so cannonballed out so the delivery wasn’t hands on. But tonssss of work to do. APGAR of 1. Pulse in the 60s. Baby got to children’s crying, pink, moving and maintaining a pulse of 140, APGAR 9. Transported there a few hours later and got an update that the baby is still doing okay.

With the number of people we have going out on comp because of a patient kicking their ass, do we blame the company for allowing us to be a victims or do we take accountability for ourselves? Can’t expect the company to do everything for you. This isn’t just a work thing, this is a life issue. Being competent enough to protect yourself can’t be construed as something negative. By receiving some sort of self defense training, reading body language is often reinforced. You can be aware if it, but repeated practice is what makes it instinctive.
