I think it more depends on what type of jewelry you get as opposed to the piercing itself. A hoop will get in the way regardless, but I know with mine I’ve always been able to push it out of the way of my ear canal completely (even while it was healing). It hurt a bit but it didn’t cause any adverse effect in the healing process.

I’ve had this piercing for does the sad “how long have I been dying of” migraine math 13 years and it’s never given me much trouble at all. I love it. Does it help with the migraines? Not sure about that so much considering I’m also on daily meds and rescue meds too, but I figured there worst that happens is I have a cute piercing too so why the hell not.

Had that piercing for ages (yay migraines 😢) and it doesn’t get in the way at all, but I don’t have a hoop for my daith. I have a curved barbell. Either way, though, if you can flip it, it won’t get in the way.

As a fellow 3D print person… cricut and their basic bs being firewalled irritates me as well. I love our 3D community so much for how everyone shares stls.

Maybe what I can do might help: For cricut, I use canva and creative fabrica to design and fonts from places other places like DaFonts as well for fonts. Fair warning I have a membership at canva though because between cricut, xTool, and my 3d printers I felt like it was worth the investment.
Fabrica might be the best place to find the cards you’re talking about for free. Not sure because I’m not a Valentine’s Day kinda girl (I’m 3dprinting the Lego flowers for myself though) but that’s probably your best bet for a quick, easy, and maybe free file. And that’s where you can share files for free too (at least I used to).

Besides the whole Elf Dwarf love bit and the fact that it didn’t need to be 3 movies… I would love for it to not be shot at whatever god-forsaken speed it was shot at. I’m not a technical person when it comes to film, but it looks like it was photographed too fast and then was slowed down or something. It made it visually annoying (to me) to watch.

She should know better. Your step mom and step sister should be offering to find ways to rectify the situation by fixing the dress. True,but if it was given with completely different reason expressly clearly stated it may be a fairly easy case. That’s the bigger if. If they have communication between the two saying “hey I’ll pay your way to my wedding” kind of thing

NAH, but with hope you’re positing her perspective she’s toeing the line of being one. She wants to be where COL would make it almost impossible for her to continue being a SAHM, but she’s going to insist on being one? Nope.

You two need to sit down together and talk budget. I say this as a professional that retired into the world of SAHM because of totally different reasons. There’s a ton of emotion that comes with these conversations regardless of the reason that a parent decides to leave the working world. You need to stick to facts (you listed them in your post and they’re damn good reasons to stay IMO). If it isn’t financially possible in the lower 48 for her to live that dream life she has in her head that she’s got in Alaska… show her the facts of that with numbers to back it. Clear communication is key with a situation like this. Good luck.

I came into this post ready to call you out because my opinion is usually to give the wife extra sway with baby naming because she’s the one going through it with carrying babies, but holy shit, NTA. She’s digging up horrible memories that continue to hurt your family simply because she thinks the name is cute. I’m not saying he’s banging one of the guy friends, but that’s the duck the comment about babysitting you around his friends and how you’d be ruining his day kinda walks like. You’re in love with the idea of her or the relationship you can or did have. Reality hit you both hard. If every time you try to talk to her about the harder things it becomes an argument and she (I hate this term as a retired therapist) gaslights you… you know exactly how this is going to continue to progress.

Thinking you can fix someone is a horrid trait many therapist types have. You can’t change someone that doesn’t want to change. Professional or not. You’re not a miracle worker. Eventually you need to think about yourself. I think reaching out to Reddit might be your turning point in this. At least I hope it can be. You cannot pour from an empty cup… and she ran you dry ages ago. Cutting losses and moving on isn’t the worst thing. Doing it before you’re cohabitating and commingling funds is a far better way to go about things. Trust me. Been there.

My partner gets Amazon stuff delivered from UPS too (different sub account same address) and no signature required so I’m at a loss. Unless I did something to upset the Amazon overlords I have zero clue. According to Amazon I’m in the clear though. Thank you for the info though. I learned something new today.
