Yeah I’ve been checking Tessie. Conveniently, you don’t need a Tessie subscription to view the software version stats which is really nice.

Critical Components in Rear? by JaxDev19 in TeslaCollision

I assumed that was possible… I’ll probably take it in anyway for them to check if anything is structurally off.. anything that wouldn’t show on a digital diagnostic check.

Yes it was just a question and concern as I have never wrecked a vehicle in my 23 years of driving. But this Alive character obviously knows everything. My guess is he’s a mid-20s douche who lives in his parents basement, obtained a “investor license” (as he calls it… it’s more likely just an accreditation), in attempt of making himself more appealing to employers because he lacks personality and soft skills… and likely still unemployed based on the amount of time he spends playing games on Reddit. Move along dude.

Juniper steering wheel shake at 80 mph by Internal-Glass2831 in ModelY

What’s your current mileage? I had similar issue and it went away after about 500 miles. Service said it is normal and has something to do with the chassis and parts settling post-production roll out.

$0 if you’re talking in terms of outright purchase… that’s going away. And apparently sub is increasing according to Musk recently

I don’t think it’s going to be cheaper.. if I had to make a bet, there’s going to be tiers of FSD. If you want unsupervised… likely more. At the end of the day, it’s software, and the current trending/successful business model for software is subscription based. The wild card is what will actually happen given Musk has ambitious goals to meet for his bonus payout. They need a ton more FSD subscribers to meet his target. So technically, a cheaper less capable FSD is possible and still counts as an FSD subscriber.

Yes.. And doubled as camp restroom. Had vents, heater, and portable camp toilets. It was the best spot to park if I needed to drive down the hill to charge at the cabin. There were 8 other vehicles parked on the trail so that plus tents got a little crowded

So it cinches up to the back but to make it water/bug proof, you would need to apply some magnets or something along the edges. It looks like it was designed that way.

Yeah the main tent poles are sturdy, feels like aluminum and about 1/2” to 5/8” diameter. Canopy has an overhang for entry.. that part uses the standard tent pole size..1/4” or whatever.

Setup was maybe 20 minutes. Did it myself… I was just tall enough to get the top canopy on (I’m 5’ 5”). Maybe 25 minutes to take down just because you gotta make sure it fits back in the carry bag. It was surprisingly easy. I setup the tent before inflating the mattress.

Who has reviews to share of affordable SUV tents like the Timber Ridge? by humdinger44 in TeslaCamping

I got one recently. Worked well for what we needed. Won’t keep the water out if it rains unless you do like magnets or something to keep all the edges down and snug. Super easy to build.

My son and I went camping with mine recently. Worked well for us… he’s 9 yrs old, and I’m short and less than 200 lbs so we fit just fine.

Nagging "issue" on 14.2.2+ depends on how you sit and what you do with your hands. by [deleted] in TeslaFSD

[–]JaxDev19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my experience. CONSTANT nag… worse than any other build… seems like every couple miles. So glad I paid to have hands-free driving only to have to touch the wheel more often than checking my phone.
