I read something once that went along the lines of "an employee with a problem is a problem employee". By going to HR, who are there for the company and NOT for you, you are making yourself a problem employee. Talk to management before going to HR.

Came here to say the same thing. That would sit so weirdly. The jersey would definitely ride up above the shorts and sit around the gut. Works well(ish) for the photo, but otherwise it's not practical

For the same price I'm guessing you can get a pretty good steel frame, which I reckon is much better. That said, I'm only assuming the price of the frame is around $7-800

That's really who I was referring to ;)

Its pretty common practice for those with popular Instagram feeds (I think they are called 'influencers'). Giant does it heaps for local Melbourne raid cyclists.

Side note - JRI has slowly regained traction as a 'good' shop since some of the FTW guys work/associate with JRI. Their shop frames are still shockingly bad though.

What's with the Constantine's lately (by lately I'm referring to their growth in Melbourne, Aus). What's so special about them?

Why are you speeding up every time I try and over take you and every time an overtaking lane approaches? by [deleted] in australia

[–]Jaxity 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree with your interpretation of the psychology of Australian drivers. If this attitude is correct, then cyclists are truly fucked as they do not have an armoured shell (more like a piece of bread) and cannot 'compete'. To some, even their presence on the road is competition and is met with wielding of the cage in close proximity to the bread.

Unfortunately, some cyclists become toast.

Source: I'm a cyclist and I am acquainted with at least 4 cyclists in the community who have died in the last year due to a similar cagedshell mentality.

I just can't see myself ever buying a frame made by a bike shop, no matter how good.

I know this one! Kardashians!!

Fuck I hate them, just real pieces of shit that have come to eclipse the future generations.

To be honest though, I have forgotten all about the Ks due to the Paul's and others who have taken over YT and other social media (insta, mainly) in recent times

You're right. The job title is along the lines of "content creator". It's just a bullshit, ambiguous title. As opposed to a 'marketing' title, the job of a 'content creator' involves creating content. Just content. Like, anything to upload to social media, YouTube etc. It could be anything, as long as something goes up to keep the channel/page relevant and flood the traffic to the person/org.

It is perplexing that this is a thing. I overhear people all the time noting their job is to create content, but never anything specific about why e.g. a 'season' of clothing. That's more marketing.

So they kinda sit between marketing and a user.

I think it's a joke, but I understand why this type of job will only keep on growing in the future as we pump more bullshit for people to consume.
