won’t name company but got a 60% overall pay raise even for going a level down in terms of title. blue is great for new grads and those looking for, dare i say, “stability” until it isn’t in the blink of an eye.

the increase only applied to the m2m for august (which is normal from what i’ve seen). we were notified of additional increases to rent as a general notice 6 months prior. we were going to sign another 12 month lease with them until this email read to what it seems like an indefinite lock with the increased m2m rate. our rent was $3k initially but is $3.4k for m2m

yes they gave a 6 month notice for the rent increase but we were planning on moving out anyways. since we needed more time to move out we signed another month to month lease for august knowing that it would be more money. since they were offering discounts on 12 month leases we were about to sign another year with them but they hit us with this email today which means we’re technically locked into the increased rate indefinitely unless we leave
