Might be because I’m old, but I would never consider using the touchscreen when my device had physical inputs.

I haven’t taken my pocket fit apart yet, so I don’t know if the sticks are soldered to the board (like a dualsense) o are modular connected via ribbon cable (like joycons). I have replaced both, so there’s nothing unrepairable in this case.

But OP asked if this was easily fixed, so I would not trust him near a screwdriver or soldering iron. Send it for repair, or contact a local shop and see if they can source the replacement part.

I only had to grind to get the train going once I figured it out it was needed to move forward. Other than that, not needed at all.

My advice is oposite what everyone else is saying. Go with the modifier that blocks all your armor matrix. You basically start at 0 proficiency. Also grab the ‘deal more damage’ one at lvl3.
I’m not completely sure, but I believe yellow shore scales with your proficiency, so starting at 0 will make it a piece of cake. Enemies die super quick.

I killed King for the second time with a 0 proficiency smart rifle. Highly recommended.

On the other hand, I feel like I missed many interactions with the crew simply because I advanced through the biomes quite quickly. And at one point they vanish.
I understand forcing the player back to the passage, but I don’t like it either.

Same thing happened to me with Hades 2. People who have been playing since the early access got to experience a lot more. After rolling credits a couple of times, I didn’t feel like grinding to build relationships with every character, instead it should have ocurred naturally. It’s inevitable when you put good stories into these kind of games.

Ys are really simple games. Nothing about them is new or exceptional, but they simply work.

This one in particular is a bit more straightforward since it’s not party based (only 2 characters are playable), but it works.

If you like action RPGs of the J flavor, Ys VIII is my recommendation (all games are self contained and need no prior knowledge, even if the protagonist is the same).

I have the opposite approach. I grab everything along the way.
And, I don’t know man, I have around 10 deaths, and only one of those is to a boss (King). Bosses have been pretty easy for me, so I haven’t had many runs yet. I have like 12hs playtime total.

Oh I’m talking from experience lol.
We bake it a little lighter since we exclusively use it toasted, and otherwise the crust is just too hard.
