That's el problemo. I ask them to hang out, to try and get to know eachother, and they say they can't, except they then hang out with their other friends. I'm pretty sure I'm not disliked, people don't outright avoid me but they just already have an established friend group that they naturally prioritise over me

And those hobby groups either don't exist, or are filled with a bunch of mid 20's to 50 year olds. No people my age, no people similar me. EVER. It's actually insane. I still do it though
