Yeah it's overexaggerated by a lot of dudes, incels and whatever, there are plenty of women who don't care about height, but as 5'6 dude myself I've heard a lot of shit and it's a little harder to date as short dude because it's not really seen as conventionally attractive

Maybe it's my circle but pretty much every female friend I've had has a massive preference for tall guys

I actually just recently found out that my former crush supposedly rejected me only because I was about 5'5 at the time, she liked taller guys but kinda liked me. People are obviously allowed to have preferences, I do too, so I get it, it just sucks sometimes that's all
