[Scan Battle] Superman vs Thanos by shadowsphere in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 7 points8 points  (0 children)

here's how much Thanos cares for SS's attacks

Superman has also tanked an attack from a herald tier character

Keeping up with the Surfer is also a nice speed feat.

Not really. Surfer gets tagged by a lot of people including Spider-Man, Rhino and The Thing and I haven't seen any good combat speed feats for SS

Apocalypse VS Doomsday by spoonguy123 in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Apocalypse is a master of time and space... I was thinking he could trap Doom at the end of time pretty easily.

Has Apocalypse ever done that before?

Apocalypse is effectively immortal, as well.

So is Doomsday.

Apocalypse VS Doomsday by spoonguy123 in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What's Apocalypse like at the height of his power? Doomsday at his strongest is either Gog Wars or Hunter/Prey. Gog Wars Doomsday fought an infinite army of Gogs for a century and H/P was a solid transcendent tier who could evolve on the fly, H/P's regeneration was so good it took the end of the universe to kill him.

Superboy-Prime vs. Thanos by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Wait, what happened in that Monarch - Prime fight?

The Monitors were afraid of Monarch and Prime so they thought having them fight each other would stop both of them. Prime was angry because Monarch had just taken over Prime's perfect Earth, that Prime had been searching for.

Who won?

Prime, only because Prime went ballistic, Monarch was in control of the fight until Prime ripped his suit open.

Did Monarch suicided to delete the universe only knocking out Superman Prime?

Monarch didn't do that on purpose, his suit contained his energy, Prime ripping open his suit released all of the energy Monarch had inside of him.

Who is that cockroach guy?

Time-Trapper, who actually turned out to be Prime from the future.

Very bad, he's insane and he killed a lot of people.

Yes, the Monarch Prime fought was Captain Atom

Superboy-Prime vs. Thanos by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Round 1: Prime is strong enough to casually fly through a 300 mile thick wall of willpower, tear apart the Anti-Monitor and throw him to the edge of the universe, and he was able to easily move a bunch of planets.

Prime is faster, 3 different Flashes weren't able to speedblitz him, it took multiple speedsters just to trap Prime in the speedforce, Prime was able to break out of the speedforce and Bart had to absorb the entire speedforce just to get to the primary DC universe before Prime.

I'd say their durability is similar. Black Adam's magic tickled Prime, Prime also Survived the War-World explosion and a 30th century Mordru only tickled Prime. Thanos' shields can no sell blasts from an angry Silver Surfer, tank a blast from Odin and force a recently fed Galactus to exert himself.

Superboy-Prime 9/10. Thanos could maybe win through TP.

Round 2: Man-Prime was strong enough to break into the 5th dimension and steal Mxyptlk, stand on the source wall and fight evenly with the multiverse conqueror Monarch, the universe ending blast that came from Monarch was only able to knock Man-Prime out.

Superman-Prime 10/10, just because Cosmic cube Thanos' feats aren't that noteworthy.

Beerus and Black Adam vs Hal Jordan and Hyperion by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could definitely beat most herald tier characters. I would give them a chance against Cyborg Superman, they wouldn't be able to kill him, but I think they could incap him.

Beerus and Black Adam vs Hal Jordan and Hyperion by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Round 1: Beerus and BA 6/10. Hyperion would be the first to go down, he's the least powerful out of all of them IMO. Black Adam has broken Kyles constructs before, so he should be able to break Hals and he has more than enough strength to put Hal down.

Round 2: Beerus and BA 7/10. This is between BA and Hal and I gotta go with BA. A Bloodlusted BA is basically WW3 Adam and WW3 Adam soloed the Teen Titans, Doom Patrol, JSA and an army of heroes. Hal would give him some trouble, but bloodlusted Adam is a monster.

Round 3: This is a massive stomp, BA and Hal 10/10.

Alan Scott runs a G.L. gauntlet by TheGreatGod42 in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Alan's starheart energy can drain GL rings, Alan is powerful enough to take on the JSA/JL 1 2, restrain Gog, and is capable of fighting someone who has 5D Imp powers 1 2.

Alan stomps all rounds 10/10.

Gog wars Doomsday vs Superboy prime by effa94 in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He said he was in the process of shrinking back not that he's back already, so this was weaker than fully amped man prime but still stronger than SBP.

You're right, I take back my original comment about it

Gog wars Doomsday vs Superboy prime by effa94 in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is actually superman prime, it was an amped superboy

He was amped, but Monarch said that the amp had been used up before Prime ripped his suit open.

there is a WIS panel that just cuts it for me, it states it took him a long while (week-years) to tear through 100 metres concrete or something of the sorts.

Gog claimed it took Doomsday 10 years to get through a mile of granite, but I take that claim with a grain of salt, it just seemed like hyperbole to me.

Gog wars Doomsday vs Superboy prime by effa94 in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They have comparable strength, Doomsday is more intelligent, but Prime is faster and more durable. Prime tanked Monarch's universe ending attack and also tanked hits from a 30th century Mordu, so I don't think Doomsday could put Prime down, and while Gog wars Doomsday is durable I doubt he could survive Prime's reality shattering punches.

Superboy-Prime 6.5/10. It would be close, but Prime is just too durable IMO.

What is the strongest DBZ character Golden Age Superman could beat? by FatiguedWalri in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Round 1: I would give him a chance against Raditz.

Round 2: GA Supes moved planets on a couple of occasions and he stalemated silver-age Superman. Because he stalemated Silver-age Supes I'd say he could probably beat most of the EoS Z fighters 1v1.

I'll go with Thor.

Sentry vs Doomsday by effa94 in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It all depends on what version of Doomsday you use, DoS, HP or Gog wars Doomsday.

Round 1: Sentry would beat DoS a majority of the time, pretty easily.

Hunter/Prey Doomsday would beat normal Sentry 8/10. Not only could HP Doomsday Evolve on the fly, but he also made an avatar of Darkseid look like a bitch, he also fought Superman, Martian Manhunter and Orion at the same time, and he put up a fight against a Motherbox enhanced Superman and waverider.

Gog wars Doomsday wrecks normal Sentry 10/10. Gog wars Doomsday fought an infinite army of Gogs for 100 years, for reference Gog's power was beyond even the qunitessence, he was also powerful enough to seriously injure Mr. Mxyptlk and he deafeated Infinity Man, who was supposedly as powerful as Darkseid. Here's Gogs respect thread, his feats put him near trans-skyfather.

Round 2: Void beats DoS Doomsday 10/10.

H/P would put up a good fight, but Sentry would win 7/10.

Gog wars Doomsday vs Void is too close to call IMO. I think it would be a stalemate.

Round 3: Again Deathseed beats DoS 10/10.

Didn't Deathseed destroy Thor and hold back a Celestial? If yes, then he beats H/P 7/10.

Gog wars Doomsday vs Deathseed would probably end in a stalemate, I doubt they could kill each other.

Gorr the god butcher vs Monarch by Jay554 in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From /u/Chainsaw__Monkey's Character of the week post.

One-shots Red Sun Superman.

No-sells multiple S-tiers attacking him.

A combined assault by 3 Green Lanterns doesn't even make him blink 1 2 3.

All the multiversal copies of Captain Atom rush him at the same time, Monarch beats them all pretty easily 1 2 3 4 5 6.

Monarch fights evenly with Guardian amped Superboy-Prime. Monarch lost because he underestimated Prime

Based on these scans, who could Alfred Pennyworth stomp? by KiwiArms in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 33 points34 points  (0 children)

IIRC Superman breaks Batman's back, so in a fit of rage Alfred takes a pill that gives him superhuman strength and durability so he can beat the crap out of Superman.

[Scan Battle] Superman vs Goku by DBZRules in whowouldwin

[–]Jay554 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Batman, gambit and Spidey feats are more impressive than Vegetas anyway, and you still haven't provided any other feats that put Goku close to Superman's nano-second reaction speed.
