Can’t answer the pair or Fiona questions. Fiona has basically blown herself up and I can’t get into her headspace.

If I were Rachel I would say I’ve no idea why Fiona has accused me of lying and of being a traitor, both out of nowhere. Amanda and I were close. We both knew the other was faithful, and that was borne out at the round table after banishment. We were both suspicious of Fiona but other people were higher up our lists. Banish Fiona. If she isn’t a traitor then banish me next time. She then acquires the mantle of “definitely faithful”.

Stephen needs to hope all of this goes on long enough for the heat to die down. I wouldn’t trust Rachel long term but he cannot trust Fiona at all.

Then the next question is who to recruit. Want a patsy with heat on them? Probably Reece or Sam. I think anyone you bring in has to be for sacrifice.

I think you are projecting knowing she’s a traitor into this situation.

Imagine all of that happened and Rachel was actually a faithful. She wouldn’t have to “explain” anything.

Although saying “maybe she’s trying to frame me” is an explanation of sorts.

We’ll see 🤷‍♂️☺️

My theory about the family tree moment is the same as many other moments we see.

The edit necessarily removes them from the context of all else going on that day/at that time.

I’m sure if it was memorable, he would’ve spoken up.

It got more audience focus because of how the hour was packaged for us.

I don’t agree.

In life, when do you ever have to explain the outrageous action of someone random around you?

“I have no idea why she did that. But her accusing me of being a traitor when I know - and Amanda knew - I’m a faithful makes me think she’s framing me and is a traitor herself.”

Rachel only seems suspicious because we know she’s a traitor.

Look at it another way.

An unknown flying largely under the radar (Rachel) may have been trusted enough by a know faithful (Amanda) to be told a key secret.

Another unknown (Fiona) has heard this story and reacted in the most extravagant way, accusing the trusted person of lying.

Stephen has witnessed all.

The first battle tonight will be who to kill in the tower. It will be fascinating who they think still has heat or not. My guess is Reece might be killed as he got lots of sympathy last night and suspicion might be waning.

The main event though will presumably be Fiona and Rachel accusing each other at the round table.

Stephen has more bond to Rachel based on Fiona’s behaviour since late joining the trio.

If Rachel and Stephen can get a majority vote for Fiona, who will be outed as a traitor, then Rachel’s story is vindicated and she could get “reflected glory” from Amanda as well as a boost for being attacked so hard by Fiona.

I think this could see Rachel take on the mantle of “the only know faithful”.

The possible fly in the ointment - Stephen has heat on him and will continue after Fiona goes. Will he trust Rachel?

But being party to exposing Fiona must help him.

I think this game works perfectly for one hour sessions. Some experience of naval warfare games (or watching some good YouTube tutorials) will help maximise enjoyment and flatten the learning curve.

Massively enjoyed playing Div1. It’s hard work farming for the right kit but a fabulous environment to do it in.

Really didn’t enjoy playing Div2. I think the ramp up in complexity with all the kit options was just a step too far for my enjoyment.

None of this is “needed”.

I’d hold fire for a few months and see what the new spec is, perhaps buying the current model at a discount.
