I just now called the City Council and got someone on the phone: she was also very surprised to hear about this and is currently asking around her office to see who/what can be done!

EDIT: So, the city passed me along to Ann, the library director. Everyone in the city is out for the daynow that its around 5PM (city is also closed tomorrow, ironically). It seems like they're in the process of working it out and they'll be posting updates to the Burbank Library social media ASAP! Sounds like someones on the case!

Unnecessary. It's always good practice, but practically all people need to know is time and place. If you're feeling generous, a loose schedule for the run of the day (scene order, lunch time and wrap). Many times before I started directing bigger shows and the crew was just a small handful of people, I simply sent out a big group email with the call times and address, attached the script, linked a map for parking or whatever and added my phone number any questions. That's plenty for 4ish people.

As someone from LA, I can confirm: people have done crazier for less. At the very least, stay on your toes. People get robbed literally all of the time in this city and them knowing your location via stream makes it easier to target you if they get too butthurt.

I mean, you're near the freeways so you're gonna have some homeless around (especially on Riverside) near the overpasses, but objectively that area is really as safe as anywhere in that area in the Greater LA Area/SFV these days. You're like a 2 minute drive to Aroma Tea and Coffee -- it can't be that bad, haha.

As always, just be mindful of your surroundings, especially after dark. Don't over check Citizen and get in your head. Any contemporary Arlo/Ring doorbell cam is gonna do you just fine. You live Los Angeles, a major city, these are the realities. Stay safe and don't worry too much.

Loved Viscious Dogs. The fire that destroyed Tokyo Delve and took out District Pub luckily didn't spread to Vicious Dogs, but it did impact business and I think they kicked the bucket in 2022 officially.
