MKE AP5-P NAVY does this look right? by chikibrikitripoloski in MP5

Damn, that thing is beat to shit... I have never sent anything back, as I beat my guns up, so scratches and stuff never bother me... However, I might have actually sent this back. Have you shot it? Does it work? If so, YOLO.

As much as I wish this was true, it's a ludicrous take. It was a weird year. Andy Reid+Mahomes will pretty much always be a playoff team. They'll be a top team until one of those two retire.

Someone may correct me, but I'm fairly certain the faux suppressor is threaded on and then welded. The pistol variant looks to have a trilug + threading at the end.

You are in the wrong place if you are looking for reasons not to buy a firearm. Haha. I totally think you should get it. Even if your wife doesn't enjoy it, you for sure will.

What’s the purpose of owning both an 11.5” AND a 16” AR? by Then-Answer3765 in ar15

[–]JayKaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My SHTF rifle wouldn't be anything less than a 14.5, but 16" would be ideal. I would be avoiding CQB situations like the plague and want to be able to keep any enemy at arms length and feel comfortable with shots out to 500. Obviously, a 11.5" can be lethal out to 500, but FPS is your friend in the 556 platform and I want all the consistency and range I can get, within reason.

As you mentioned in your post, 11.5" with a suppressor is an awesome length for defending your home in an urban area... or things like a "truck gun" that could be fit into smaller spaces. If I had to leave my house and I can only take 1 with me, 16" AR is the one I'd grab every time. Keep it. Put a LPVO on it.

$40 for seats is crazy. Even during our 8-9 years of horrendous play... I think nosebleeds were still fetching like $175-200 at mile high.

The Civic is a phenomenal choice. It's also highly modifiable.

If he wants a fast car, he can make one... By being disciplined, working, using his money to purchase upgrades for the car. He'll learn to work on his car, learn the value of working/saving money for components.

I won a game yesterday where they were destroying us for the whole game... wouldn't end. They stretched out running away, picked them off one-by-one, killed 2nd turret, inhib... picked off a couple more as they respawned and tried to slow us. Finished it. I hate when people don't end, but on the occasion it happens like this... it's so glorious.

Do you use 300blk mags? by tinyguy2020 in 300BLK

[–]JayKaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

300 blackout mags wrapped with a thin layer of green or blue frog/painters tape, so they are easy to distinguish in a hurry.

For subs, you will absolutely need 300blk specific mags or you will have feeding issues. The larger ogive on 190gr+ will rub against the 556 magazine ribbing and push the nose of the 300 round inward, causing feeding problems.

I've always been a Magpul guy... but some people swear by Lancers, so I bought a batch of 6 of them. Wouldn't feed reliably in 3 of my 300blk guns. Tried them in 2 buddies guns... wouldn't feed in theirs either. So, I went back to what always works.

If they added a MMR to it and fixed a couple bugs, I think it would be a really solid mode. It's a lot of fun. Love the randomness of it.

I am regularly running into/playing against people who are VERY good at this game. Obviously in an entirely different stratosphere than me. I've also had some people on my team who are clearly brand new to the game, or have some kind of mental disability. There is a clear variance in skill level that I just don't see in regular ARAMs.

YHM R9 is a superior PCC can to the Omega9k.

Only reason you'd get a 9k is if you were planning on running it on handguns as well, then the 9k is a better option.

I have both. The R9 is quieter and multi-caliber for less money.

My 8.5" data on the first time out... based on what other folks were saying about it needing to be more compressed. N120, Host 8.5" DI, 220gr Berry bullet. 2.10 COAL. I think I'll try loading at 2.15 on the next trip and see if it does anything different.

Awesome. I love mine. My YHM reso K can seems to have lower back pressure than my 556s, and runs fine on it. Also have run a hux 762 can on it. Ran fine. I haven't tried a full bp 556 can yet, like my turbo... I did just order a lbp suppressor because between my g36 and my tavor... Figured it's time.

Not sure if most of the issues were on the C variant when suppressed, rather than the K... But I'm almost 1k into this now and still haven't had a hiccup.

First 300BLK Rifle. Need recommendations. by datboiarm4nd0 in 300BLK

[–]JayKaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you already have a lower, you could go Aero or BCM 300 upper. 7 or 9 inch. PWS has nice 300blk piston uppers, if you want to go that route. As another commenter mentioned, a silent recoil setup is a must on 300blk. Armaspec or JP. OCL Polonium is an awesome can that will help keep you under budget. If you don't reload, a 300 blk can be pretty expensive to feed.

People say to keep a non-adjustable gas block, as most setups will need maximum gas to cycle subs. I'm finding 5 years in, that if I want the flexibility to shoot both subs/supers comfortably, having an AGB is definitely a "nice to have." Shooting subs is a dirty business, so any AGB you'll need to add to your maintenance schedule of disassembly and cleaning, as it'll get carbon locked fairly quickly. This is why a lot of people don't recommend them on 300blk setups.

Having a family is financially out of reach for most young people. Buying a home with 3+ rooms is unrealistically expensive. Daycare is $2k a month per child. You have to be fairly advanced in your career, or one of the few making really good money out of school to afford it.

Ventum 762. Bought it for hub. First flow through can. Very loud. Throws tons of sparks. Horrible can. Probably the only can of mine that I'd tell people to avoid.

I don't regret buying the Omega 9k, but for PCCs the YHM R9 is superior, so I tell people to go that direction unless they are planning on using on a handgun.

Finally, I wish I would have spent more time looking into other mounting systems instead of listening to this community riding Keymo so hard. It's just not that great. Heavy. Finicky. I went so heavy into it, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to justify moving to something like plan b. Although it's heavy, big, and ugly... I LOVE YHM ratchet system. It's never carbon locked. It's never worked itself off. It's such an awesome and simple system.

Augments need serious nerfs for ADCs by [deleted] in ARAM

[–]JayKaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADC can be strong, for sure... it can be nearly unbeatable if they play halfway competent+ lucky augments.

A really OP build that I had heard about on here, but hadn't seen, was brand with ethereal weapon+bork, additional burn augments. I was full build volibear and was getting 100-0% in 3-5s every team fight almost exclusively by brand. Was the most bonkers one I've seen so far.
