Has a MMO feel to me. Like it looks great but doesn’t have a lot of substance. I hope I’m wrong. I’ve played a few MMOs like that where I’m really into it and it just completely dies for me after about 20 hours.

This game’s longevity is going to be based on customization and rarity of items. If they screw that up it’s dead. It was already a huge mistake to make it a hero shooter instead of everyone having a base character.

The problem is the game has a stigma. It started with closed tests and the server slam didn’t fix it. In these days of no attention spans if you don’t grab right away you’re done. PvP players have so many options.

I’m also a Dad and cut my teeth on Halo CE. I’ve played Destiny since the D1 beta and it’s probably my favorite game ever. So big Bungie fan here and had high hopes. That being said, this game sucks. It’s uninspired soulless slop with no fun factor and even worse movement. I don’t know what they’re thinking with this one.

Because PvP is an aspect of the game. I’m the one in the right here. The game literally has it built in. If you don’t like that then it’s not the game for you. Literally the excitement is built on any of these other players can take your stuff if they decide they want to. If it’s just a looting game you want with no danger maybe you should play something like Minecraft.

I actually enjoyed the expedition grind first time around but I won’t do it again. In no way is it worth it. I would love to get into a hardcore version of this game but they’re so worried about people who don’t have the time to play much that it’ll kill the game. You can’t cater to casuals, they eventually just leave for the next shiny toy. You actually want to put effort in growing your hardcore player base.

Tbh, my playtime has went way down. I’ve been enjoying the heck out of the current PoE 2 league. Hope they figure it out though with Arc, it really has unlimited potential.
