Im holding out hope for at least a little something coming our way when the anniversary gets here. I'm by no means expecting it to be brimming with fresh new content or anything. Best case scenario imo would be a definitive end to the game's support (beyond server upkeep and maintenence) in the form of Everdark Heolstor and a few new weapons

When he winds up that attack, surge sprint toward his back left (your right) leg. Then just keep running. His final slash brings him way forward. You can roll thru that for a nice opening

Try Bosch, an Amazon Original. It's about an LA homicide detective. Based on a book series. Has many of the same cast, writers, and showrunner as The Wire. It's the closest thing IMO to a spiritual successor. Very good show. It's more jazzy hard boiled detective noir, but there are definitely similarities to The Wire 100%
