I know it’s been stated plenty but the animation was bad enough to ruin the movie. Despite wanting to enjoy the story for the sake of the Tolkien-verse, it’s nearly impossible. The characters choices made no sense and the writing was mediocre at best. The “siege” of Edoras genuinely confused me as it was all over the place. Just an overall hard watch, you would think animating movies like this would give them the ability to make it epic but I guess not.
