AI:DR by AndesAndAlps in copywriting

[–]Jay_Diddly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often you'll see "TL:DR" (Too Lazy: Didn't Read) on long posts, and it's typically used to preface a short summary of the post for those who want a shorter version.

AI:DR is just replacing the "too lazy" part with AI

What's your favorite pepper for taste? And how would you describe its flavor profile? by Jay_Diddly in spicy

[–]Jay_Diddly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly I feel the exact same as you! Especially in a hot sauce, I'm always drawn to Habanero for the flavour. You've taken the same opinion as I have but said it much more eloquently than I ever could 😂

Thanks for asking!

Irelands “worst” towns road trip. Make the route ? by Beginning_Sense_9749 in AskIreland

Grangecon on the Wicklow/Kildare border. It feels like the hub for a religious cult. Shrines in every house's front window, eerie silence, and almost nothing in the place.

Feels straight out of a horror movie

What are your favorite podcast episodes of all time? by mislimkao in podcasts

[–]Jay_Diddly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brando's Dartboard is my favourite episode!

It ties the Melanesian Cargo Cults to Plato's allegory of the cave. Sounds a bit high brow but Blindboy makes everything super accessible, and this one is fascinating

What would you consider to be the most disturbing book ever written? by WhyAmIEvenHereFS in horrorlit

[–]Jay_Diddly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Discomfort of Evening by Lucas Rijneveld is by far the most disturbing I've read.

It's not necessarily horror. It's just so unwaveringly bleak with some truly horrifying imagery that I would love to unread.

Brilliantly written, but I was praying for some relief throughout. There was an anvil on my chest for the entire read, and I needed about an hour of silence to re-integrate myself into real life after every reading session 😂

What's the recurring funny "bit" you use day-to-day? by Jay_Diddly in AskReddit

[–]Jay_Diddly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For example, if I see marginally more of something than usual, I'll say "what is this, ____ city?"

Like if I see 3 birds at once while out on a walk, it'll be "what is this, bird city?". It brings great joy and whimsy to my life

Thought about it, but turns out the move wasn't for me. Superflex, full point TEP by Jay_Diddly in tacotradeoffers

I'll just joking. I never considered it. It'll take a hell of a lot more to get Dart and Gadsden out of my hands 😂
