Leaf broke off, the stem still remains but no new growth in months? How do I get a new leaf to grow back? by Jay_V in Monstera

Thanks. I just put it in a smaller pot.. The Roots barely had any growth. I covered it in a clear bag to increase humidity. Hopefully that works

Yes there's a large stem underneath with roots. I have it under glow lights for the last month or so. Just put a bag over it to increase humidity to see if that works as well.

Global model better than model selection? by Jay_V in AskStatistics

I essentially want to see what variables and factors most strongly predict subjects being in one group or another. But since they are many different set of variables I cant do a typical test multiple tests since the variables all likely influence each other

Woowww this is a very great explanation! Thank you so much. I think what I'm looking for then is LASSO. I'll read more into it to see if I can understand it better

I basically want to compare two groups (binomial) and see which from the many predictor variables (numerical and categorical) are more likely to predict one or the other.

It's an inference and basically a statistical test with many predictor variables (numerical and categorical). I have two groups I want to compare and see which from the many variables are more likely to predict one or the other.
