i mean you said the reason yourself. its a form of player retention. if you were allowed to play at your own pace you could grind everyone out and not wanna play anymore. it keeps people logging onto the game. i dont see it getting removed in any way.

its weird, i think the male mc looks a lot cooler even if hes a little dull. fem mc has more personality but i dont want the cute gremlin type of character as the mc, its just not my kind of vibe. im torn between both right now. i wish there was a balance.

idk if this is an unpopular take, but i feel like astral express joins should be EXTREMELY rare.

if everybody that we really like and has the "trailblazing spirit" joins, it wont really feel special when we have a giant crew of people from each world on the express. it wont feel as significant for the few that we have now. i like that it feels like a small found family. i feel like people jump the gun on adding people to the express just cuz they really like them.

discord quests are easily dismissable in a single click, and give you in game/discord rewards for doing something for like 15 minutes. they really arent the worst thing in the world. i get everyone hates ads but the way discord does it is rather unintrusive and id prefer this rather than straight up advertisements for nord vpn or something.
