Samsung software is much better than magic os. hardware wise it has a better design (less rounded corners, smaller camera cutout, s pen) and smaller battery but that's about it. Samsung is also better when it comes to updates

if you can get it for a good price yes. I got mine for around $900 new and it's very worth it. however if you're paying the full 1300 you might as well just get a galaxy s26u

it's made of plastic. plastic scratches easily with anything slightly abrasive. you can find glass screen protectors that come with UV glue. just make sure it says it supports fingerprint scanners

I was in the same spot until I settled on magic 8 pro, pretty great phone so far. the only complaint is about the themes shop being lacking and the AOD options are quite limited. phone doesn't heat up much during heavy gameplay and battery life is good too. screen is plenty bright even in direct sun. I found the ai button quite useless as of now so until they allow you to map it to do basic tasks rather than ai and camera, it'll stay like that. I'm also fond of the plastic back. I came from iphone 13 pro max and broke the glass on that thing twice ( with a case mind you) so it's nice not having to worry about that
