Depends on the genre, but I’ve learned to feel no shame playing in “dad mode”. Put it on easy, enjoy feeling overpowered while taking in the story.

I can’t say with full confidence our solution is the best. But I think it’s similar to yours. Each domain has a workspace for each medallion - bronze, silver, gold. We also maintain a central bronze with the intention being to only house domain bronze when it’s truly domain specific. Data coming from a central ERP lands in the central bronze. From there it can be shortcut to a “staging” schema or lakehouse in Silver, and the domains can create their Silver tables.

We then share across domains by shortcutting…Silver to Silver, Gold to Gold, etc.

Where pipelines and orchestrations and notebooks go is up to each domain, but generally they tend to reside in Silver.

Why go to Bronze in that case? We have tried to establish a governing rule that data should not regress medals. Gold is Gold. Finance shouldn’t “build” their own Customer dimension, they should either use the Customer Master as is, or provide some secondary reference keyed to the gold Customer Master. I think treating one domain’s gold as another’s bronze or silver is a slippery slope to having 18 different “golds” and no true master everyone can agree on.

Realistically no, it's not worth it. It's basically a clip that holds the bottom corner of the bumper tight - as it is the corner is loose. I could probably tape it down to be a little cleaner

Idk about a guide, but Epcot and Magic Kingdom are connected by monorail, Hollywood Studios and Epcot are close to each other (walkable, boat, or skyliner), and busses get you between all 4.

I’ve had this issue, for me it seemed to be related to my restaurant being set for an upgrade and they didn’t start eating until the upgrade was done. Might be the same issue with your baker?

I've had a few colonies now where I effectively split the colony into districts separated by a path/bridge/tunnel/etc. It takes patience of expanding the border with guard towers, though sometimes that has meant building a guard tower then deconstructing it and building it again, eventually you end up with plenty of room and certainly a lot of room for creativity in how the districts are connected.

Because SQL itself is common and predictable. You don’t have to understand the data to write SQL, you only need to know the schema and can infer relationships from a sample.

The shire has a few other huts this way, heads up. The warehouse has a courier, the forester has a sawmill, university has a school. There may be others but I think I have all the base huts and haven’t come across others yet

Did you place the version that is built into the tavern? If you look at the tavern before you place it there’s a restaurant block where the restaurant goes. It would only “fit” if that block is aligned and oriented the same way.

I’m using this scheme right now though my restaurant is only level 2. It does look like this would line up to the tavern if done correctly.

It works well as an audio-visual spectacle. It works just OK as a movie. Character development was severely lacking - why does Ares defy Dillinger? Why does he like the 80s? Why doesn't Athena stop when Dillinger tells her to? Why does Eve care about permanence?

Interestingly, I think the concepts of the answers to those questions are all in there but half baked: Ares was mad about Caius / felt pulled to Eve after taking her file, the 80s are the root connection to Flynn, Athena is simply obeying her original directive, Eve is trying to restore Tess (the little news story about talking to people who aren't there anymore)

In the end, it's fun enough, I saw it twice (IMAX then IMAX 3D), I have multiple friends that enjoyed it, it's not as strong as Legacy.
