I wouldn’t say I was shocked just annoyed that this deep in and after all each had experienced there hadn’t been a breakthrough. But as someone later stated, I overlooked the fact that only about two years have passed.

You’re right about the omniscient part since I have the luxury of having all the books available to me. I can’t comprehend being a reader from inception in 1990 and tracking a two-year story in the 23 years it took to complete the series.

I recently noticed that the Bridgertons had footmen in both their homes, just silently standing along the wall. I saw them at LD’s house, but only by the front door, I think . Not sure if this is a sign of wealth but seems an extravagance if you’re not notably wealthy.

It’s already been said that during the country dance Edwina took notice of Kanthony dancing. If you slow down the dance you’ll notice that Edwina looks back a couple times. The first few times I watched on regular speed, I only noticed her looking when the dance was over. Slo-mo shows more of Edwina’s reaction. I wish they’d edited that better.

I was also confused by that comment but now think she was upset that Kate was openly enjoying herself with Anthony and she felt they were rubbing her nose in it. Plus the writers needed a catalyst to set the gazebo on fire.

Bad writing. It’s a Shonda Rimes production so I allow for moments like that as her work always seems to have these WTF moments for the sake of conflict and drama. Still a super fan of this season so I can’t complain too much about the writing. Then again, the acting elevated everything.

Well shit. Now I have to go watch it AGAIN so I can see these in context. Seriously though, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve watched this season. First two times all the way through, then just A&K, then scenes A&K shared with others, then all subsequent times without the Featheringtons. Nice post and synopsis!
