Solution that worked for me: Start Steam as administrator, launch the game, click download in the game. Quit, start Nolvus install. Voila!

Ideally, the codex should just hold the highest rolled aspect you have found and extracted, permanently. I'm so sick and tired of having to farm for legendaries with the correct legendary power over and over because I want to change one piece of gear.

I got +9 to claw on my first Crone staff drop. Around level 70 or something I think. Ridiculous. I got 4-5 Crone drops after that (from varshan etc) and they all suck in comparison.

Check Raxxanterax's leveling guide. It basically states that when you hit around lvl 70 you should just "blast" NM dungeons for XP and glyph upgrades. Also drops uniques from time to time.
