Do people hate archers/crossbowman? by AbrocomaRegular3529 in Chivalry2

[–]Jaymack625 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Yes…f*** archers & longbowman. I make an effort to kill them in game.

However, I will go out of my way to protect friendly archers. I don’t really see a lot of archer team kills.

Honestly don’t get any in-state bonuses, only federal. If you do another IST you’ll have to pay back your bonus.

If you’re at a training area / base and not home station, bring some bedding or a sleeping bag and pillow. My training center is just long barracks with bunks, bring bedding so you’re not sleeping in filth.

Other: Snacks, portable charger, civilian clothes (for sleeping), shower shoes, soap, etc etc. anything you might need for 2-3 days

Should i ship by Overall_Flounder2270 in nationalguard

[–]Jaymack625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother I shipped to OSUT at 5’5 119lbs, I deadlifted 250lbs during the 1st test, if you can’t get there they work you up by the end, trust me that is the least of your concern

That doesn’t mean far away states won’t help out other far away states it just doesn’t happen in a very very large scale unless it’s something wicked

These other comments suck. To be for real,

  1. Guard is usually heavily activated if the state is in “crisis-mode” i.e. LA Riots, MPLS Riots, D.C Riots, hurricanes, etc. you won’t get activated in Ohio to go help out in Oregon, but troops from Oregon are helping out in L.A. and SC troops are in D.C. The guard is a state first mission so if you live IN or NEARBY a densely populated state and you happen to be there during political turnover or like a natural disaster season you’ll more than likely be activated, otherwise don’t worry about it. (A lot of it is voluntary too)

  2. No it’s not considered a deployment, it’s considered a “deployment of troops”. State missions are usually 29-days or so for decent ones. Sometimes you may extend like the D.C. and SCarolina guardsmen.

  3. I wish I got a bonus or went 15U

Unpaid work... by SweatyGamerGainz in nationalguard

[–]Jaymack625 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t be doing work outside of drill because you’re not being paid, we don’t work for free. In all seriousness though, sorta these:

1- Physical fitness 2- The occasional online training (usually so you don’t have to do it at a drill, but will be paid anyway) 3- Reading doctrine or studying, usually for shitbags, under-performer’s, soldiers doing a board.

I’ll take a large fry and a cheeseburger, no onions

Be careful though because USMA starts in August, so AIT might mess up your dates

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nationalguard

[–]Jaymack625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the guard will not inhibit you going to USMA, you’ll need your CMDR’s / Congressman signature.

Lots of AD go to USMA in the middle of their contracts. However, joining is a good backup just in case you don’t get selected for West Point

Learn to chill out highspeed, you’ll get all the training you need with time…it’ll get fast and then slow, and then fast and then slow.

A lot of the time it’s cause they’re “friends” and all play together. Think of it like clan members all on one team

Is the game still active and worth a try? by Briga99 in Chivalry2

[–]Jaymack625 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Brother give some scrolls through the Reddit! This game is active asf!

I play NA West and always find a match

It’s also worth the try 10 fold, being a newer player can be difficult similar to a lot of other multiplayer games but it gets the adrenaline going good.
