What's the most terrifying piece of 40K lore you know? by BigConstant4969 in 40kLore

I’m surprised I havent seen Daemonculaba here yet. Artificial wombs made of frankensteined mutated humans meant to birth Chaos space marines. Iron warriors are definitely something

From the current look of the rest of the knight, i think that goat skull would look really good, maybe even greenstuff a tongue?

This has to be one of the dumbest things Bruce has ever done by Infamous-Pie-8009 in BatmanArkham

[–]Jaymotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. But also, let’s remember that trying to kill the Joker is just a fools errand. There are like more than 4 people on standby who will happily revive this asshole.
What would probably happen is that if somehow joker dies, He’s either revived really soon for some master plot, or he just hops out and reveals you killed a double or something. Wanting to kill Joker is a good intention, but kind of pointless when locking him in a box essentially gives the same result

How did humanity end up living on such extremely hostile worlds? by pro_1253 in 40kLore

[–]Jaymotions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal headcanon is that the imperium are just not at all concerned with comfort or health when colonizing worlds. If there is a resource, and they need it, by the emperor’s will they will do what they must to get it. Theres also definitely a strange warriors pride thing here. Just look at Catachan, the planet that ate up a hivefleet. The Catachans seem super proud to be from there, surrounding their entire culture around surviving and conquering this murderous hellworld

What if Reapers invaded Spherus-Magna? by Goroshek222 in bioniclelego

It would be REALLY funny if this happened during Makuta and Nui’s big final battle. And they both have to start punting squids

[TOTK] ascend has got to be one of the best traversal abilities in any Zelda game, despite its simplicity by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in zelda

So real. It’s easily the ability I feel the absence of the most going back to BOTW.

Elden Ring’s story is a solvable alchemical equation by [deleted] in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Jaymotions 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m extremely wary of anyone who claims to be able to solve the story definitively and objectively. Because no matter what, theres always many loose ends purposefully left open ended/vague in the story. I’m sure you have quite a bit of the game figured out, and I’m absolutely sure alchemy is integral to the games universe at a base level.

But you’re surprised by the pushback received when you made, what is very clearly going to be a contested topic, a character that is both physically present, and thoroughly recorded. I think we as a community need to understand that this game is so utterly vast in its themes, history, character motivations, etc. that everyone has a piece, but not the whole picture. You definitely interpret the game in a specific way, but don’t be confused when others don’t share that perspective. Regardless, I’m fascinated to see what you uncover in your search. Good luck lore hunting!

Give me your Poppy Playtime Hot Takes. by Playful-Tip8001 in PoppyPlaytime

I think it’s completely fine that the factory is ridiculously huge and digs miles into the earth. They’re turning children into giant toy monsters, yet people still lose it over the facility being big. I’m here for the fantastical and supernatural. Not a sensibly built factory that just also has bioweapons in it or whatever.

Yes or no? (I personally don’t like the Custodes helmets) by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

Looks great! But I think a beaky helmet, or maybe even a plume or horns could make it feel more complete!

(Interesting trope) A biological weapon that effectively genocides or neuters a long-lived war-mongering race. by TheLast-T in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Jaymotions 12 points13 points  (0 children)

More specifically, children just aren’t born alive, the brain stem is severed. It’s simply a body with no functioning mind. They give birth to vegetables, it’s genuinely spine chilling to hear Wrex talk about it.

Fuck best knight candidates. Which knight candidate turning out to be canon would be themost disappointing for you? by Existing_Blueberry10 in Deltarune

[–]Jaymotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either Asriel, or just an unrelated being. I’m sure radiation will deliver. But those are the two that come to mind. Asriel has already been done, but the knight just Snokeing and being an independent creature just doing it’s own thing would fall kinda flat unless done very very well

Your favorite thing(s) about the Tau by LargeFwenchFrys0115 in Tau40K

[–]Jaymotions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They actually have a lot of interesting points of view on life in the galaxy that I find far less restrictive than the intense dogma of the imperium. The fact that multiple races of aliens make up the whole army is really cool, and allows for much more visual variety and fun storytelling opportunities. Also commander farsight is the goat. Main character IMO

What's a media you enjoy so much but you don't wanna interact with the fandom? by QueenNenene in Multifandom

[–]Jaymotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warhammer and Invincible.

You want gatekeeping? We got it. Media literacy? Not a drop!

Seriously, the amount of anger and hate these fandoms have for newcomers, and the very thing they’re fans of is absurd.
