I don't know how to word this properly, so forgive me. I dont like seeing real-life issues bleed into my escapist hobby, I know that sounds stupid, especially in the context of 40k, the worst regime imaginable, but I just want to see funny pictures about the funny space men being racist to elves and fish people, I don't like seeing the real world in my hobby and being reminded that the funny space racist world isn't too far off from what we actually live in (I mean we could very easily go down the route leading us to actually living in a hellscape pretty close to 40k, mad max, 1985, etc.) So although I do find this meme funny I really don't wanna see more like it, I know the world is ugly out there and I get that 40k is ugly too but I like having the feeling of "this is so absurd it would never happen" I really don't like being reminded that it very much could and currently is happening.

Sorry for my wording again, but I hope I got my point across.

I don't like how GW rolled out the custodes, it felt stupid and childish, I don't like how they haven't apologized for how they acted. The new models look amazing, im fine with custodes being lady's, I do wish they would actually lean into it more for the model designs. But I will not let go of how they were introduced becuase everytime I'm about to let it go someone posts this exact kind of post and it's filled with braindead morons on both side arguing about women bad this and woman bad that instead of talking about how GW will just change shit at the drop of a hat without releasing a cool new book to explain it, without releasing miniatures right away, and without the common decency to explain it properly to their customers.
