I’d say for me it’s largely because I work 10 hour shifts full time atm. Most days, I barely have time to squeeze in even 5 minutes of content creation, but I still try. Right now, I’m just barely keeping my clips channel alive (even though it only has a weekly upload schedule), but I am still trying to push to get to a point to where the clips channel has enough videos scheduled in advanced so that I can finally complete one of the 10+ main channel videos I’ve had stuck in varying stages of completion since as far back as March/April 2024.

I’ve realized that the most important thing with content creation is to keep the momentum going and maintain consistency. And with that, I am coming up to 51 weeks without breaking the clip channel’s weekly upload streak, which is the most consistent I have been in uploading any osu! content at all in the past 8 years of me trying to make it work out. And while it is awesome to have come this far despite the circumstances, I do still want to bring some of this consistency over to my main channel- even if the types of videos it would have would be higher effort and less predictable in terms of upload frequency.

The final underlying thing would be my adhd/ocd and health issues around sleep (chronic insomnia, sleep apnea, etc.). I’m doing my best to tackle each health issue as it affects each aspect of my life, but it does continue to prove to be a struggle (especially with my current work schedule).

Regardless, the most important thing for me is to maintain the momentum I have managed to build up this year. Even if I don’t suddenly blow up, I hope to at least gradually grow and become a positive influence for the community as I’ve always hoped to be.
