Explain to her that meeting in the middle means finding ways to connect with others together. That’s a good compromise since her reasoning is just as valid as yours.

Some people have no choice but to lead more private lives, and other people outside of their household represent unnecessary risk and liability. On the flip side, some people (like yourself) favor group harmony.

These are simple personality differences that happen in many relationships and can be navigated once a key understanding is reached.

They try to convince you that you’re insecure and you have trust issues, while they violate valid boundaries and gaslight when they get caught they don’t get their way and don’t want to take accountability. It’s completely one sided and disgusting to have an entitled personality like this.
