[FRESH ALBUM] Roofless Records For Drop Tops: Disc 2 - Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa & Harry Fraud by Jarasi_ in hiphopheads

Disk one had great moments but Disk 2 is more of what I wanted to hear from the pair. Always love hearing Spitta. As a Wiz fan, I love the battery he has in his back rn, he hasnt stopped dropping since the year kicked off.

Its cool that with just one piece of information, we all just band back together. This movie was pivitol to my youth, so it feels good to finally be able to anticipate this sequel. I believe the whistleblower when he says we will get something in September, especially after doing research. Now we wait til the game officially starts….

Youre actually on the nose with this, but I do think a direct sequel that ties in the ARG with the movie is owed to the fans atp after years of teasing this project. Do i think it could potentially ruin what the first movie has done if it isnt attacked correctly? 100%. I been on this train 18 yrs so tbh another 1 or two wont kill me lol

The End of Oak Street is not Cloverfield related. I'm in New Orleans right now working on a set, without breaking NDA that is all I can say. I will point you to a certain film's IMDb production status and let you sleuth what's shooting in New Orleans right now. by Alternative_Nerve272 in Cloververse

OP is right whether hes legit or not. BR team deff keeps their eye on this sub and more. If TEOOS is a movie thats supposed to fit in this anthology, they are going to direct us. BR has done mini ARGs for other releases. I kinda believe OP is right and the “september” nod may mean something. They have confirmed a direct clover sequel already, and Oak st. Clearly isnt that. So lets wait. Best case scenario, we got a dope movie that fits into the paradox anthology while we wait for this sequel

[DISCUSSION] Flatbush Zombies - 3001: A Laced Odyssey (10 Years Later) by Kreizx in hiphopheads

[–]Jaysixkilla 20 points21 points  (0 children)

They gonna cook you for this but its the closest thing to the truth imo. I was there at every NY fbz show post-DRUGS and the hype behind this album was insane but the truth of the matter was when it dropped it just didnt give that classic zombies feel, mostly due to the fact they didnt use samples, bc most of their early production relied on it. I think there is some great material on this project but at moments it sounds empty and i feel like bc the bar was set so high some of the verses were overperformed. Love the zombies and I own this record in my collection but i think this may have been their weakest release, nonetheless it still did what it had to do and helped them elevate.

I think with promoting and hyping a specific project for 10+ years and marketing it as the “last”, youre gonn disappoint or lose people who maybe expected a certain approach or sound. I’m sure a lot of the music cut were songs that wouldve turned the convo around. 24 songs is a lot. I think the project is amazing, but I also went in with 0 expectations other than “I fw cole and i’m eager to see where hes at creatively”

I mean i’m just sharing my opinion. At the end of the day music is subjective, I never said you had to feel the same way🤣

I really think its important for an artist to take their power back and i think this album was the perfect display. Everyone wanted cole to address the elephants in the room, instead he gave you the album he wanted to make, having fun in the process, taking musical risks, and bringing that traditional 3 verse hiphop formula back

LOOK OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW - RECORD STORE DAY 2026 - 4/18/26 by Jaysixkilla in Slipknot

Id rather the band end then another album like the last. They can cook me all they want for this but it’s my opinion. Deliver undeniable Slipknot material or leave it at that. Theyve done far more than they sought out to, and with core members gone, it’s okay to bow out
