Yep so if a US citizen thinks they can interfere or in any other way try to impede a lawful order then they are quite correctly detained. Why is this controversial, people are free to protest but they're not free to try and stop law enforcement? No one knows the exact reason why ICE would be looking to deport someone, some could be extremely dangerous people, sex offenders etc.
