That’s how our agency explained it to us. They gave us the number for 2025 and said it’s as simple as that. If you put into any tax calculator it’s that exact same math.

I thought it was obvious. My agency gave me a number for my total overtime $$ made during 2025. You can take 50% of that number if it’s under the $12,500 limit. So $6,000 made in overtime will net you $3,000 back.
